Hi all,

I thought I would try this forum for ideas and inspiration.

I have been invited to a new years fancy dress party and I am stuck for ideas.

Any suggestions?

I once went to a 'Bad Taste' party as an SS Stormtrooper (long before Prince Harry). I couldn't think of anything in worse taste but apparently, I was supposed to wear 70s clothes or come as a vicar or something. I didn't think anything of it at the time but was very embarrassed years after. The funny thing was there was some young kids at this party and they had those tubs of bubbles and there's a photo of me somewhere dressed in full SS uniform, blowing bubbles to loads of kids who are excitedly dancing around me. I hope I never get famous as it will undoubtedly come out.

Go as something leftfield completely unbelievable - how about going as a West Ham fan! Imbecile!

Go as a Rent Boy.

No need (for you) to wear anything fancy, but you could offer "party rates" to the other guests and help move things along.

Late 80's me and a mate went as Bill and Ben (the flowerpot men) to a fancy dress party accompanied by our other mates Sister dressed as a ST Trinians shool girl. We must have looked a right spectacle walking across the Gascoigne Estate in Barking to the venue!

Just make a giant gift tag to hang around your neck that says To: Women From: God

are you fat and caucasian?

If so  - blue pinstripe suit, red tie, orange wig - job done
