West Ham United can confirm Jarrod Bowen sustained a fractured foot injury in Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Liverpool. The injury to his left foot, picked up in the first half at London Stadium, will sideline the Hammers captain heading into the New Year.

No point rushing him back to soon and he needs to be eased back in gently to a likely full blooded relegation battle.
So you do expect him to sign for Spurs this month then if that’s the case
No I think he will go
in the summer to a club much bigger than Spurs,
possibly Barca or a Bayern Munich.
I really did rate h that highly

Apparently, Spurs are going to be placing a £50m bid for him.

Soucek or Fabianski as club captain for me purely because they seem like they give a shit.
Killman should be in contention but needs to up his game and start showing what we paid the money for.
He showed against Liverpool (unless I dreamt it ) that he can bring the ball out of defence and play a bit so why not do it against the lesser teams ?
I would also say that any new captain needs to get a hold of Paqueta on Sundays showing
I'm sure Kevin Nolan or a Mark Noble would off
Soucek is no skipper..he's too nice.
Gives his all . courageous on the pitch and all that.
but is too nice to give some heads a wobble.
Bowen is no leader of men either .
We have no leader of men..
a Lucas Neil type of character would make a big difference imo.
Big characters with big balls...footballing skills are not required at this stage

True, great opportunity for Kudus. Let’s see if he can sort out his final ball to contribute more assists and goals.
Not only Kudus but Summerville too. A run of games is exactly what he needs right now. Could see him grow to a key player to replace Kudus when we sell.

My glass is definitely 1/2 full with this one, maybe 3/4!
My worry with Bowen is that a Real Madrid or Barcelona will come after him at some point. This injury may stop the bigger clubs doing that.

Let's not be simple optimists and look for any 'positives' from this as there ain't any, comfortably our best player. At least the season is already over, so it won't harm us in terms of achieving anything.

Strange one, has been out best player by quite a way, yet we have someone who on his day can be even better... Let's hope playing regularly not in a position he doesn't flourish in will get him back to what he's capable of.

Sometimes you hit rock bottom and somehow it starts to go good again. Let’s bloody hope so. Happy New Year my fellow Hammers

club captain, and I think he has limited ability but gives by far the most effort - Big Tomas

Bad because we will miss his work rate. But to be honest Kudus’ game has suffered massively because Bowen needs to play on the right to keep his England place.
naturally fulkrug becomes the full time striker. Good job we’ve been playing him to get him ready I suppose.
I have a strange feeling that this will become a weird sort of blessing for us.
the question is Bowen a better player in that position than Kudus? We’re about to find out…

Just the shittest team news to end the year on. Although he's not been as prolific this season, he always puts in a shift and isn't afraid to track back. I think we'll miss that because there is no way Kudus will do it and Wan-Bissaka gets caught out too much for my liking.
That said - it means the likes of Fullkrig and Summerville will feature a bit more. I like what what little I've seen from Fullkrig - clever player. Summerville is a delight to watch, just hope it clicks for him a bit more in front of goal. We'll see I guess....
Happy f'ing New Year everyone.
I like what what little I've seen from Fullkrig - You are out of your tiny mind. The only resemblance between Füllcrock and a striker is the fact that he is on strike!
It's funny because it's true. Dortmund had us right over a barrel. The medical records alone should have set off alarm bells. We lost the fucking plot in desperation nearer the end of the window when failing in our earlier attempts to get either Duran/Ormorodion, whilst wasting close to £30M plus big wages on a 4 year deal for this waster. Doesn't even get stuck in properly for such a big geezer dawdling about the pitch looking like a lost puppy who doesn't want to get his kit dirty.
