The media have lined all their ducks up with man-made climate change as they see that as a growing area sponsorship/advertising revenue-wise.
Anything that keeps that thought in the public's mind, even if it's "just" a throw-away line at the end of a report does exactly that.

Getting sick of the media and their love in with bad weather. It's like before every news program they go "How can we try and make people as depressed as possible?".
Fuck me, its January. It's cold. It's wet and snowy and icy. Hello. Jesus wept. Watching the news its like fucking armageddon because there has been a layer of snow in Shrewsbury and Vera can't get to the high street to get her fucking hair set and blue rinsed. Malcolm from Worcester had to turn around and go home due to a flooded road and couldn't sit as judge at the local sheep trimming contest.
Just fuck off.
Spot on Russ.

Girl's father: "Your son pissed in the snow outside our house late last night and wrote his name."
Boy's father: "That's my lad! What's the problem?"
Girl's father "It was in my daughter's handwriting."

Rainy and a bit cold here in Sunderland but nee snow.
More hysterical, panic-mongering weather forecasters.
Cunts.
This is why Asda had no meat yesterday afternoon.

No problem with snow but just been out for lunch near Elstree airport and the roads are flooded from the heavy rain this morning.

What is this typically average British winter weather keeping off the front pages?
Chatting to people up and down the country today and most can't work out why it's dominating the news.

The over the top reporting was making out a major blizzard was on its way. Coming back from City yesterday the train pulled into Watford Junction and there was only a light dusting not enough to stop the train getting into Euston on time. I guess the worst of it was probably up north but who cares.
