This is worth a watch, 49 and still playing, over 1000 competitive games under his belt, and has scored in every division from the PL down!!!!Take a bow Jamie Cureton, player manager of Cambridge City, but has been at Norwich, Reading, QPR, Bournemouth, Swindon and Bristol Rovers and once turned down the opportunity to join ManU at 18, stayed at Norwich back then!!! Has lived the dream IMO

That cretin on the blower sums up the modern day English 'man'.
Nothing about them whatsoever...

"Will, I just read on WHO that Jamie Cureton is still going. Be a good lad and offer Cambridge City £27M and Jamie £96k a week to play up front for us and see if they'll bite..."

I think Stanley Matthews was playing top flight (1st Division) football in his 50s?
Perhaps that's a record Sullivan is after with HIS team...

Scott Mcgleish age 50 is still turning out occasionally for Leverstock green where he is assistant manager
He holds the record for competive appearances (over 1100) and most of them in leagues one and two
These boys just live playing football regardless of the level.
Unfortunately some of our players look like they have the weight of the world on their shoulders when they step on the pitch and can't even be bothered to acknowledge the away support.

We would sign him and he would get a career ending injury in the first game. The striker curse!
