Sick of hearing about how Arsenal are yet again hard done by and their fans (and some pundits) scream like banshees/death threats after calling the Skelly the worst Refereeing decision in history, yet conveniently forget this high profile moment...
And yes, a great excuse to be reminded of such a glorious day this was in our history at the same time.
Olivers decision was poor but their entitlement in the game is next level shit. How about all the decisions Wolves have suffered in recent times, yet they don't get half the coverage these wankers do.

This batch of Arsenal has somehow made nearly everyone prefer the scousers win the league. Completely devoid of class from Manager down to the Ashburton gimps. Gabriel is arguably the most unlikeable bloke on a football pitch at the moment.
Having said that, it’s nothing new. Their fans were as detestable during their 00’s success. Ditto the players. The behaviour of Keown to Van Nistelrooy when he missed a penalty is the same sort of stunt Gabriel was pulling yesterday.
It’s just because that they became so irrelevant that people forgot what they were about.

The irritation of Arsenal and their fans could well be down to the antics and words of their manager? Full of bravado and overly emotional, prepared to go to any lengths to win including cheating if possible. Does not seem to have an ounce of humility. Lots of people in football like that mind. Ok, dont know him, perhaps he is not a self obsessed, narcissistic ego maniac but he certainly does come across that way at times. Contrast to Slot at Liverpool or Frank at Brentford, Glassner at Palace even our new man Potter. Night and day.
Isn't it strange how all the players you mention on here have links to Spurs.
To be fair to ladyboy/Sad ferret they probably don't know any West Ham players from that era so they can only use Spurs players with a connection to West Ham for reference. Have they mentioned Chris Houghton yet?
Paul Brush - was training my son,
Frank Lampard was living next door to my nan
Have a lot of that era's autographs
Three lads from Chadwell St Mary were killed in a car crash around 1982.
A West Ham 11 came down to Tilbury for a charity match.
I got the autograph of David Cross, Alvin Martin, Geoff Pike, Ect.
You're probably related to Frank Lampard then.

Most Gooners are ok. Small minority are fucking raging fuckwits. I know lots of Gooners who agree with me that some of their fanbase is a fucking embarrassing mess.
A large part of our fanbase is as well.

Yep, Les Allen Spurs, Clive Allen Spurs and Paul Allen Spurs.
Quite ironic when you think of how many London clubs Clive Allen played for and yet was signed by Arsenal and never played a competive game.

Old school fans I tend to agree there's not as many, but their new breed entitled shit cunts are a whole different kettle of fish. They carry on like they're the absolute bollocks and yet they ain't won a League for over 20 years now and never won a Champions League. Both Man City, Chelsea and arguably Liverpool have by-passed them and yet they still think theyre on that level of successful winning these days. You'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise the way they carry on...
Lee Gunner is one of the only Arsenal fans who says it as he is. He hates the new breed of Arsenal fans and almost everything about the club.
He likes West Ham also and said we had a better season than them because we won something and finishing second dosent get you a trophy.

Back in the late 60s, 70s and early 80s, when I was actively following West Ham. the story on the stands/streets was that you couldn't play for Arsenal unless you had a criminal/police record.

TBH even the older ones think they're some kind of London footballing royalty just cos they had some marble in the hallway at Highbury. All cunts IMO

Paul Allen - my most favourite West Ham player of all time. Thurrock boy like myself and have had the privilege of a 5 minute conversation.
These days you will find him marshalling a part run somewhere in deepest darkest Essex.

Have to say, and it was a fucking long time ago, but remember being gutted when Allen left for 400k and joined them. Always remember the Soton at home game when he run the full length of the pitch, down the right, and crossed for TC to tap in.

I absolutely hated it when he left, but I suppose he was from a Spurs family and it was always bound to happen.

if what happened to Skelly happened to one of ours, we'd have been screaming from the rafters too.
We'd be sending death threats and calling it the "worst decision in history" because of it? Behave.

Can you imagine if your friends and family knew that you spent your time doing this, Ladysmith son.
It's bad enough being a West Ham fan and posting bollocks on a West Ham forum, as I can attest, fuck knows how low you must feel deep inside.

What an odd post.
Not recalling an incident 50 years ago hardly constitutes a short memory. And if what happened to Skelly happened to one of ours, we'd have been screaming from the rafters too.
