What do we reckon for the League Cup semis then?
I have a feeling Arsenal will turn over Newcastle and get to the final. Seems like the Geordies are already planning their Trafalgar Square piss up...can see Arsenal shocking them.
As for Spurs, I think that lead from the 1st leg is absolutely vital for them. Can see them battling for a draw at Anfield, and progressing to the final.
A NLD in the cup final would be a sight to behold. Bit of a lose/lose for us whoever wins.

The original point was that he just scored against Chelsea, no misty eyed looking back just enjoying the fact he scored vs Chelsea. A point which was completely lost on joyo the bike nonce.

Don’t think Scamacca ever wanted to leave Italy but the club wanted the fee & he went for the wages
Him and Haller are decent players who have succeeded since but Moyes system of one striker 40yds adrift of anyone else didn’t suit them. Or anyone, even Haaland
Not the player we needed due to his injuries but someone of the style of Calvert Lewin is what we need
Good in the air but mobile enough to run the channels and hold the ball up

We spend an awful lot of time reflecting on former players, let’s remember that most were sold because they were shit for us or had a bad attitude. Scamacca was one such player plus he was injured a lot. Whenever you feel like reminiscing about former players just scroll through the pages and find out what people on here thought about them when they played for us.

More importantly for actual West Ham fans, Scamacca scored for Atalanta.

Club Brugge just drew 3-3 with Barcelona; they should have won the game 4-3, but VAR overturned it

In the English football system, from National north/south to the PL, there remains only one team unbeaten in league games.
I went to watch them last night as they drew with Chesham United. Hornchurch have ten wins and five draws so far topping the National league south table.
I went to that, too. Thought it was going to be their first defeat but they have a way of getting results this season. Unlucky not to win in the end.

Van der Valk ran from one penalty area to the other without anyone even attempting a tackle
Shows what a load of cock the champions league is
Should be the winners of the top 12 European leagues & another 4 clubs from a prequalifying competition between the winners of the rest.
16 clubs in a hat , draw them out for home & away ties
Round of 16, Quarter finals, Semi finals & final
Could be wrapped up by Christmas

Watching Kieffer Moore score a hat-trick against Lampard, big lump for sure but we don't have a better striker than him at the club.

I see for the quarter finals Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea & Newcastle all kept apart
Not suspicious at all
