I guess you're all better than me. At that age and a bit drunk, if someone for whatever reason locked me in a taxi or whatever the levels of a abuse and damage to the taxi would have been much worse. Police did it once and I didn't take it well. A taxi driver or some citizen, fuck that.
At my age, I may be more like Nurse says, but not sure.

It would never have got so far as him having to lock me in for the reason specified above.
This situation was entirely the fault of the revolting passengers.

It's got NOTHING do with a disagreement.
It's got ALL to do with a bird puking in the back of a cab, and her girlfriend kicking a window in.
As has already been mentioned, the cabbie was told to drive them straight to the old bill.
Do you think if he didn't lock the door they'd still be there when he pulled up at the nick?
Or should they be let off (both the fare and the cleaning bill) because they're birds (well, sort of)?
