West Ham and Leeds among English clubs eyeing ‘complete’ international forward likened to Robin van Persie
Giuseppe Labellarte
TBR Football can exclusively confirm that West Ham United and Leeds United have among the English clubs who have set their sights on one of Ukraine’s best young players.

West Ham appear to have done enough to survive in the Premier League this season and will want to kick on under Graham Potter next term.
Meanwhile, Leeds currently sit top of the Championship table, though a very competitive three-horse race is under way with Sheffield United and Burnley hot on their heels.
Said player has already won 10 caps for Ukraine, is on 16 goals for the season, and has been compared to Premier League great Robin van Persie.
However, West Ham and Leeds aren’t alone in their pursuit, with the likes of Brentford, Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers also keen.
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands Ukraine striker Vladyslav Vanat is emerging as a potential target for a number of English clubs.
The 23-year-old has come through the youth ranks at Dynamo Kyiv and has been capped more than ten times by his nation.
Vanant has hit double figures in his last two seasons for Kyiv and his performances are attracting the attention of clubs throughout Europe.
TBR Football understands that Brentford, Fulham, Wolves, West Ham and Leeds are amongst a host of clubs to show an interest.
Vladyslav Vanat factfile and style of play
Vanat is a 23-year-old forward who plays for Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine international team
He mostly plies his trade up front, though he has covered on the flanks on a few occasions for club and country.
Vanat came through the ranks at Dynamo Kyiv and has spent his entire career there so far, save for a loan spell at Chornomorets.
He has 101 appearances, 43 goals and 18 goals to his name for Kyiv, along with 10 caps and two goals for Ukraine.
Football Talent Scout’s Jacek Kulig has described Vanat as a “complete forward” and likened him to Premier League legend Robin van Persie.
