I'm thinking of going for Stumptown but my last winner was West Tip in 1986, so any tips?

Celebre de Allen age 13 passes away two days after being pulled up after jumping the last.
Jockey Michael Nolan had already received a ten day ban by the stewards for continuing when the horse had nothing more to give.
Not a good look with animal rights groups up in arms at what they deem to be it's abhorrent treatment.
They won't be satisfied until the race which has already been dumbed down to make it considerably safer is banned for good.
Dog racing is soon to be banned in Wales so these groups are having an impact and slowly getting their way.

I watched it the other day for the first time in years. When did it become a hurdle race.
Agreed, they might as well use hurdles, even Bechers is practically a hurdle now.

There is also a medic and ambulance made available at the annual cheese rolling and wake at Coopers Hill where competitors chase a wheel of double Gloucester down a steep 200 metre slope.
Just thinking, if they had a euthanasia team standing by at every professional football game, that started heading towards any player overdoing their leg clutching and rolling on the ground, I bet we'd start to see the players hop up and run around again a fair bit quicker...

The jockey Bellamy has a broken wrist .
It's a tough old game for jump jockeys
In what other sport do you have two ambulances following behind you ?
I understand that boxing has paramedics and an ambulance on stand by.

A couple of mates have chasers and hurdlers but it's often to
expensive to insure them so if one gets injured and needs to be retired or put down you have also lost all of your investment.

Fucking horrendous fall for Broadway Boy. I believe ITV failed to acknowledge it in their coverage after the race? Poor show if so, even if the horses's condition wasn't fully evident at that point.
The horse was fine. The animal rights loons, gutted that no horse did the decent thing and died, just got all antsy about a few equine bruises.

Percival Legallois Win
JP McManus has a very strong hand this year and this could be the pick
Broadway Boy. E/W
Course winner and he will appreciate the trip although would need to jump better than he did at Cheltenham.

Used to be a proper, real man's steeplechase back in the day: dogs got fed, glue got made.
Now it's just an overly long PETA-driven woke-race.
