Ticks Sullivan's boxes. Out of work. Premier League experience.

Man U in free fall since they replaced him, was he doing that bad a job?

Definitely better than Cock Piss Potter.

Thoughts?

One thing you can say about ten Hag is that he did try to adapt to the players he had, adopting a much more direct style of play than he used at Ajax because his Man Utd players weren't really up to a passing game, and that was pretty successful in his first season. I don't know if he then tried to revert to his preferred style or if it was just that the players he bought were so shit that made the wheels come off.

Hoijland is another joke of a player. Zirkzee, Mount, the list of way overpriced shite goes on.

Amorim is in exactly the same boat as Potter for now in terms of having inherited a load of overpriced players who aren't suited and aren't good enough for what he would like to do. Both have a tough summer coming up with needing to try and shift a load of players who are going to be very hard to move on. Amorim has the advantage of not having Sullivan pulling the strings and fucking plans up though.

Be interesting to see how both clubs approach summer and where they stand next season./we stand next season.

But surely if Amorim is the brilliant, innovative coach we were led to believe he is when everyone was creaming thbeir knickers at the thought of him managing West Ham he would be able to get some sort of tune out of those overpriced players.  The same as I would expect Potter, if he is any good at his job, to get a tune out of our over rated , badly assembled squad.  It's obviously not ideal to inherit, as Lopetegui, Potter and Amorim have all done, badly assembled squads but surely demanding the squad play to a single, my way or the highway, system is just plain stupid.

Why is it you think everyone is a Spurs fan?
His mum used to turn tricks on the Seven Sisters Road, went bankrupt and lost their home went David Pleat got nicked. He never got over the trauma.

I forgot that David Pleat used to manage Spurs, I guess only a true Spurs fan would remember him.
Of course you did...Somethings never get forgotten, JFK"s assassination, 9/11, Spurs manger gets nicked soliciting twoleftfeet's mum.

Mount was Rice-bait, any damn foo' know dat. They had adequate cover in that position, but it's a good indication of their managerial steamroller mind-set.

They've has a succession of managers who have really had no time to build the team they want - Ferguson was no overnight success; Their fans, owners and the media have very short memories in this regard.

Would I want Nine Bob Note at West Ham?

Only for the spectacle of him and Sullivan going all-out, full-on handbags on his first day here.

Anyhow. Fuck him, fuck Man U and fuck the horse they rode in on.

Ten Hag …. was Ajax manager & went back to buy Antony for £80m rather than Kudus for £38m
Not sure how many of the current Man U squad were his choices but not many winners I suspect

Rather than wanking your little cock over Allegri and throwing darts at Potter in your Mum's spare room, if you put the same amount of energy into literally anything else, you probably be quite good at something.

I'd can't get past thick end of £100mil for Antony.

Up there with £40mil for Kilman.

You shouldn't just start a new thread for every suggestion, have one thread for ALL proposals for a new manager. If we had a new thread for every potential manager or player it would be pages and pages of names.

No thanks. Ming must have assembled in terms of cost vs performance, the worst squad ever in football.

He weren't doing a great job at Man Utd. He had started pretty well and they did win a couple of trophies, but last season they finished 8th, their worst finish in 25 years. This season they started off shit as well, winning just 4 in 13 games before he got sacked. You really have to look at the godawful signings they made during his time there though. 300m euros on Casemiro, Antony, Hojlund and Mason Mount is insanely bad business. If ten Hag had no input on transfer dealings then fair enough. Otherwise...

Given that he mainly played low block, counter attack Moyesball at Man Utd, he probably would have been a better fit for our current players than Potter is.
