Well I guess it's Bowen or WBS then... terrible turnout from the rest

Should be given to Ludek Miklosko. A proper   West Ham player. He appeared at the bowl so why not

Embarrassing to vote for any of them after the season we have had

My Hammer of the year would be Freddie Potts or Callum Marshall, both seem to have had fantastic seasons and performed far better than any of the Rush Green portacabin crew.

I'll probably go with the DeWalt XP One Piece Rip Claw.

I've just gone on the website to vote for HOTY. On the shortlist for 'save of the season' is Areola v Max Kilman. . .

I would say AWB. But quite frankly, after this season, if we end up bottom of the rest, then bin it off. Fucking embarrassing.

Left footed player can’t play on the left? Has had games on the right and been woeful.

All players are entitled to poor seasons, but he’s been shite throughout.

Yeah I’m not having that at all, sorry. I would argue if you asked Bowen to fill in at left wing he would do a far better job and still pitch in with some goals and assists. Kudus has had chances at right wing this season and still been absolutely shit. Major attitude problem, but more importantly, no football brain. If he isn’t having success dribbling with the ball he is completely ineffective, because he absolutely cannot pass the thing.

That's a cheap get out of diabolical form for Kudus I can't accept. Both player's managed just fine to find form in the previous season whilst playing together in the same side. The fact Bowen has hogged a lot of the right wing this season does not excuse why he hasn't assisted.

Kudus is playing out of position because Bowen is there, so he probably would provide those goals if Bowen was injured.

Understandably, there is a bias towards English players in this thread.

Bowen hasn’t had an off season. He has team mates who have completely failed him.

He is slightly below last season’s number of a goal every 2 matches vs 1 every 3 this (or a goal involvement every two) but without that we would be royally fucked. Who else is replacing those goals? Not the hugely overrated Kudus, that’s for sure.

Without any shadow of doubt for me, Jarrod Bowen is HOTY.

Herbie? Running around in the costume all game must be hot as fuck?

Puts more effort in than some of our lot though….,.

Guilherme hasn't come close to 1 Man of the Match awards, let alone receiving 2 and at 2 very difficult Grounds too.

1 bad performance against Salah of all players against Champions elect Liverpool at Anfield doesn't change how well he's performed overall for us and certainly doesn't compared to Guilherme who's struggled all season to make a breakthrough having started just 1 match at Wolves when he was taken off at half time as Scarles started in 7.

It would be a joke if anyone but Scarles won the Youn Hammer award.

I don't know about that, we saw Kilman get a load of stick for allowing Scarles to get skinned by Mo Salah and granted, loads of much better players than Scarles have been skinned by Salah but Guilherme has gone about his business without incident.

Much easier for an attacker than a defender but I'd go with whoever has the most minutes on that basis, plus the fact that there really isn't any other candidate.

Easily Scarles for the young Hammer award. Think he got at least 2 man of the match awards along the way in the Villa Cup game away and Arsenal away.

AWB is a good candidate. But Bowen for me. I feel his consistency means he gets taken for granted.

Agree that it's a choice between AWB and Bowen.

I'd opt for AWB. Just.

But they've both had very good seasons in an otherwise poor team.

AWB or the ever reliable Bowen.

I'd give it to AWB for always showing up and giving it 100%

Now if we can get the other Palace lad Mitchell on the left back as a free transfer we'll have the Selhurst shuffle bombing up and down the pitch.

Soucek? Fucking hell. You know it's a bad call when you're arguing with yourself about it.

Although I think he's well overrated on here, AWB has still been our best player, but that's only because Bowen has had an off season by his standards.

Everyone else has been so monumentally shit,  I'll stop at giving anyone much praise. In fact, I'd cancel the award this season.

It can only be AWB or Bowen. Soucek probably third which goes to show how shit the season has been.

Scarles for young player of the year.

Martinez for the women’s team.

Signing of the season AWB.

Best save of the season was a really tough one but I think I’ll probably go for Aerola.

Yep loads of credibility for ducking surgery and not being available.
