Will it be the hot favourite in Chelsea or the underdog of Betis to lift this prestigious European Trophy on Wednesday evening?
With the links to West Ham in that famous "Cockney" Pablo Fornals and Adrian in goal both looking like starting and of course an ex-manager, plus its them from up West *spits assume we are all Betis fans for this? Even the resident Spurs twats Lady and the Ferret will be cheering on Pellegrini's side i would imagine, but fuck knows with those 2
Pablo and Adrian were always well liked and put in a shift even if both were highly inconsistent, let's hope both have one of those games where they look world class, and if it goes to a shootout then Adrians your man!!!!!
Less said about Pellegrini the better, will always remember him for sitting in the dugout at the bowl like he didn't give fuck, but for this game i hope his team prevails.
Come on you Diegos

Palmer is one of those players who has a bit of magic about him.
For Guardiola to sell him & keep Grealish was a catastrophic error
I sometimes think that players who aren’t deep thinkers to put it politely have an advantage as they don’t seem to suffer from nerves & just concentrate on football
We did try for him but then Chelsea got involved
Shame

My hatred of Chelsea has lessened because of Palmer.
He's one of those players you love to watch.
Plays with the enthusiasm of a kid.
A maverick talent in the same mould as Joe Cole, Gascoigne, Frank Worthington, George Best.
One of THEM players.
He aint the brightest though is he?

He is 1 serious special talent that lad. Pains me to say it but that was outstanding business. Guardiola dropped s huge bollock on him leaving for Chelsea. His footballing brain is next level.
Hazy memory but was it Lady Brady who said Palmer was offered or we tried to get before he went Chelsea?

Much better game to watch than last week’s final.
Heartening too to hear Palmer saying how he prefers the risk reward passing game to the sideways and backwards stuff.

Strange game as Betis were all over them for an hour. Chelsea also ran out 4-1 winners beating Arsenal in the Europa League as well when Emery managed them with all their quality at Chelsea overpowering them. Betis didn't take plenty of their chances in the 1st half which didnt help either.

Klopp really liked Adrian, as a bloke, so that might have helped him stay on there.

Adrian did an ok job for us, not the greatest but a good character. He was probably the best available at the time.
But he has been almost retired since he left us, sitting on his arse at Liverpool for years and then back to his boyhood club for tapas and golf. So I'm not sure why he was playing in an European final, betis must have had no one else.
Didn't Liverpool use him in a European final too for similar reasons? He's done alright for himself since being moved on by us considering his age and ability.
I liked him. Scoring that goal against Everton in the penalty shoot out was a highlight for me.
I did like him a lot. Since leaving west ham seven years ago he's had 26 starts for Liverpool and 26 for betis. Seven trophies. Man's a legend

The only silver lining is the Chelsea fans getting smashed by a bunch of Spaniards, which is about as embarrassing as it gets

Well its all about opinions init!
it's like saying Antonio is a great striker and that's my opinion, so there. Laughable stuff.
But he is? Been an absolute beast at times has Antonio, granted has also missed a few barn doors. Not sure Adrian was that bad for us, had his moments good and bad and been far worse between the sticks, always liked Adrian, without the fuck ups would have played for Spain...........Maybe
Anyway, Chelsea won it, saw Cole Palmer being interviewed afterwards and then at the press thing answering questions, fuck me what a miserable cսnt that lad is, great player mind (in my opinion) doubt they will roll him out again for such things!

Oh do fuck off Sydders, that cliched crap doesn't get you off the hook at all. To state Adrian is a great keeper just makes you look fucking stupid, it's like saying Antonio is a great striker and that's my opinion, so there. Laughable stuff.

Football died after we won the ECL. Everything since has been dirty, sullied, meaningless football.
We were the last true champions of football.

Mind you its also amusing seeing Arsenal fans still claiming they had the most successful season of the London clubs
Very true! They've lost the fucking plot in complete denial as other Clubs win trophies as they continue to bottle it every season.

Bery rich club with large squad overcomes team with a fraction of their resources.
physicality and strength of Chelsea squad overcame Betis as they ran out of steam 2nd half
