Season 1 done and dusted for the 'new WHO site'...any feedback?

So just like Lopetegui, the new WHO site debut'd for the 24/25 season. A great proportion of the previous incarnation's active userbase has moved across successfully, with a few new arrivals to go with it.
What's the feedback of those that are still hanging around?
Anything that needs addressing urgently?
Anything you'd like to see as an extra feature?
Any thoughts on content or approaches to increase userbase or improve the place in general?

I think it's really good and well done for all the work put in.
Took a little while to get used to the new format but it works really well.
One suggestion, can we have a laugh option next to the like option so you can just tip a laugh to a funny post without having to go in and post an emoji.

I’m disgusted it only took a few minutes to reset my password. I’ll be back next season (26/27).

New site is great functionality wise. Great job with putting it together and maintaining it.
Probably needs an influx of new (genuine) posters from somewhere just to freshen things up a bit. There can’t be all that many unique regular posters on here.
That and just get rid of the obvious troll posters rather than do nothing. If it has to be ‘’by committee’ amongst the mods then you’ve got to get together to make these decisions.
Overall it’s great. Big thanks.

long time since I replied to you Nursey (hope all is good), must be 5years at least... I enjoy the banter/abuse etc. but not when it's personal or the never ending sex-deviant accusations... grains of intelligence fell far from the tree it would appear.

The Website works a lot better than the old one, no more waiting 2-5mins for it to load(?)... Owners/Admin have done a cracking job.
The only disappointment is the continuous abuse some prescribe to, it's childishly pathetic and stops people from posting, apart from that, good job by all.
I enjoy the bickering and abuse if it's clever. Unfortunately much of it is banal and childish.
My only complaint about the new site format is that the clock is teetering on the brink of being useful.

As below, I pop in occasionally to see what's going on but the site has been killed off as far as I'm concerned by the constant bickering and abuse between half a dozen or so regular posters. Technically, a vast improvement over the old site. Shame the content has gone downhill.
Do what I do and ignore it and post content you think is worthwhile reading.

Ladyboy is gone?? I’ll miss the unsolicited ‘hi’ whomails.
I read his 'introduction' post on kumb a few days back.
How long until the wetwipes on that clownshow work him out?
it could take years...

Always cracks me up when people feel the need to tell an anonymous message board that they don't post much anymore. Some are at pains to make it clear that they DON'T POST MUCH ANYMORE.

A good transition and still enjoy reading and posting on the various thread.
Putting all the politics under one thread also a good idea.
Not bothered about people having a pop at one another as just skip through it.
Well done on keeping it going

It’s impossible to ignore the bickering as it crops up on most threads, even the Foe function is ineffective as posters can reply quotes.
Absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of banter if it’s funny rather than personally insulting or repetitive.
That said, WHO is still the greatest West Ham Forum and well done to those who worked tirelessly to resurrect it

I get that Gank, I'm talking more about an actual thread title. There's a cycling thread on here that I have no interest in watsoever. Reading, skipping pst it and ignoring it costs me nothing in terms of time or effort.
Yeah, that makes sense. The foe thing doesn't work like it should but we have to take some responsibility for what we choose.

Not posted for what feels like months, occasionally pop on to have a nose about and skim through the same posters having a dig at each other.
A big well done to all involved in bringing the new WHO to life when the old WHO basically died but from a personal perspective if WHO died it wouldn't have bothered me at all
From my limited time on here it very much does feel like there are a maximum of 20-30 posters. Thats not great considering how many old WHO alumni are probably still around!
I guess for most life happened, people have moved on and don't really care about posting anymore; like me work, family, holidays are more important.
Again, big thanks to those involved in keeping WHO 'a thing' but being brutal about it, it'll NEVER be like it was and NEVER have the active engagement it used to.
Enjoy your summer peeps, off to Spain in 2 weeks for a much needed break and some golf!

Well done on a smooth transition while also adding notable improvements.
Both the match reports and the view from the opposition threads always seemed to be popular reads - perhaps someone could be persuaded to resurrect those?

It did look like it was coming to it's end around a year or so ago, which would've been a shame after so many years. I thought it would die a death tbh, so a big hats off and thank you to the few who picked up all the problems and improved it, while still maintaining the essence of the place.
I do wonder if the essence of the place has been maintained. Then I see threads like the 'stalker' thread and I think all is well in the land of WHO.

Onebilly, I take your point and do indeed swerve threads whose titles indicate something of little interest to me. Also I do not use the display option to scan the post of a foe on threads I read. I don’t want to read, at all, any content from a foe but it’s thus far unavoidable when a non foes contribution includes the tract of a foe.
For me the good part of the foe option is we can now eliminate the constant bickerers.

You have to read something before you can decide whether it was worth reading or not.

Comma.
Is it really that difficult to ignore content that doesn't interest you? How do you cope with junk mail coming through your door? My guess is you ignore it, bin it and never think about it again. It really isn't hard to blank stuff, we all do it in 'real' life, just as simple to do likewise here.
