What Watch do you Wear?

I like a nice watch
My current regular wear is a White Dial Omega Seamaster 300M on the black rubber strap, IMO the best-looking affordable luxury watch on the market, also have a Spring drive Grand Seiko for more formal wear that is the bollocks as well, superbly finished and just oozes quality.
Bought a Rolex Air King 126900 recently, its the most unique from the brand, the only one with the green and gold Rolex colours on the dial, the only one with no variants like the other models have, the Submariner, Date Just or Daytona's etc that have multiple variations, beautiful piece IMO that looks stunning.
What's your Watch of choice?

Since then I have bought a spare, spare bass (Westone Thunder 1) and had a guitar made (It is a 4-string chambered guitar that looks like a Les Paul Junior after repairs from being attacked by an axe) for as my 60th Birthday present to myself.
Already plan on a Shuker JJ Burnel signature light bass for my next treat - there is still an empty guitar stand...
And the really daft thing is when I HAVE managed to sell something, I find myself years later hunting down an identical model and buying it again.
I recently found a twin to the first Marshall I bought in 1979 and bought that for sentimental reasons.
Too big. Too heavy. Biggest paperweight I own!

That is so familiar.

The old Omega 1020 movement is a diva and needs regular tinkering to keep it on point.
As Massive has alluded to it got a bit silly over lock down so now I have a watch finder case with space for 4 autos, 6 quartz and a one in, one out policy.
Quite fancy a CW twelve on a titanium bracelet but which one gets the heave ho from the autos?*
*If the omega doesn't buy the farm it'll be the Boldr

Christopher Ward watches are great. It just shows that you can sell a fantastic watch at a tolerable price, if you aren't including the cost of A-list celebrity endorsement.
I went to their place in Maidenhead once. Pleasingly ordinary.

Other things that watch nerd say include that there should be no such thing as mens and womens wristwatches and that the AP Royal Oak is an abomination. I like them though. They weigh a ton!

What do you make of Zenith and Tudor? Tudor always gives me the feeling of being the poor man's Rolex, despite being decent watches (although my Breitling has a B20 movement which is from Tudor), but I do quite like the look of some of the Zenith.
Both good quality and great looking. Tudor manufacturing most of their own parts make them really special and as watch nerds say, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, it's how much you like it and in terms of value, Tudor is right up there for precision and quality of every individual part. The idea that a Tudor is for people who can't afford a Rolex is for people who don't appreciate how a watch is made, it's not the same as comparing Voi jeans to Versace.
Zenith watches do look really nice but I can't quite put my finger on why they cost as much as they do. They're good quality and look nice but what makes them ten times the cost of a Seiko? I don't know and I think it's just a premium price point. I'd sooner have a vintage Aldo than a new Zenith but that's just my preference.

Indeed, the Black Bay range is superb. But that’s the one thing that’s always out be off Tudor, is the thought that it’s just for those that can’t afford a Rolex.

I have a Seiko Kinetic with a face that is a lovely shade of green. It cost me about £300 odd quid 15 years ago and as you say it's not for showing off like a far more expensive Swiss watch but it hasn't failed me once since I bought it.
And I get loads of compliments about it...which is very satisfying...I must admit!

The first and only time I bought a new watch....2000 Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay 100 with steel strap. I like the slightly smaller face compared to many of today's watches. Worn daily and it has not let me down (touch wood)
