Not overly impressed by the Chiesa song about them ‘crying in Turin’ which Carragher was chortling about on Friday night. I’m old enough to remember watching the telly on the night the Liverpool fans were responsible for the deaths of 39 Juventus fans at Heysel. I’d say they’ve got every reason to cry about our cheery Liverpudlian chums. 

Saw it only took 30 minutes, after everyone and particularly the players and fans of Bournemouth being incredibly respectful of Jota and behaving impeccably, for the Scouse fans to racially abuse a Bournemouth player. Fucking classless. Worth noting the main commentator pointed it out and Carragher stayed absolutely silent. 

Seeing teams who have been well below us, progress and play good football overtake us has been sickening.

We will be back to being a yo-yo side at the current rate, Burnley and Sheffield Utd are our level.
