Paqueta Update7mWe are trying to get clarity from a number of sources to give you the accurate picture of what is actually going on with Paqueta.

At the moment we have only spoken to two West Ham sources and they deny that they have accepted a bid and are quite annoyed with the reporting of such a thing from Fabrizio Romano.

The club are denying that they wish to sell the player and have always maintained if they did it would be for no less than £60m (I guess the overall loan package could be around £60m) all in and that replacements would need to be lined up, which I don’t believe they are. Whether Paqueta wants the deal or not is unclear and I guess this could be the deciding factor. 

As it stands I don’t think a bid has been accepted and as far as I know he will still be available for the game tomorrow.

I always found his pseudonym quite sad. Comes across like someone who lost his job but can't move on as he took his identity from his job.

I worked with someone once who lost his job as he just wasn't keeping up with things. But I suspect his family were quite proud of him having this job. He was on performance review and eventually someone had to sit down with him and tell him he had to go. The day after he turned up at the same time and tried to continue doing his job as he couldn't bear telling his family he had lost his job and his status within the family. It was a tragic situation. ExEmployee's name gives me the same vibes.
