Send in the fucking clowns and not because I have anything against Fab. He was great for us, but if he still had value for us (which he well may) then why the fuck did we let him go four months ago only to resign now. This only goes to show how poorly we are run and nothing will get better until we change the board, not that any of that was in doubt but fuck me does this get tedious after awhile. The board live their lives without shame.

Fabianski just replaces Foderingham as no.3 keeper.
We’ve actually strengthened.
That's an interesting way to look at it. Perhaps you're right, if you're going to have three goalkeepers out of those four, it's Foderingham you'd ditch. I'd sooner have a young goalie as third choice but being optimistic I suppose we have strengthened, yeah.
Foderingham is leaving anyway mate, just not confirmed yet.
This is a quote from the Fab interview on the OS:
Welcome back, Łukasz! How does it feel to be a Hammer again?
“This is a nice surprise for me, if I’m honest, because everything happened so quick. I found out about the whole situation [with Wes Foderingham potentially departing] just at the end of last week."
Foderingham departing was confirmed on the OS yesterday.

We really are pathetic. Areola was here the whole time, ahead of Fabianski and Foderingham. Then we decide Fabianski is past it but Areola isn't good enough for Potter so we drop all that money on Mads who turns out to be worse than all of them, and rather than swallow some pride and put Areola, the best of a bad bunch, back in as number one, we re-sign someone we already said was his number two but STILL keep Mads and Foderingham. Insanity. Apart from having FOUR first team goalkeepers, something no other top flight club has ever done in this country to my knowledge, what message does this send to any of the younger goalies at the club? We may as well not have any, it's ridiculous.

Would never be a keeper but ageing keeper is a pretty cushy job.
Play til you are near 40 on a decent wage … when I say play I mean train with the keepers & then go home
Foderingham has had a nice holiday but I guess playing a bit in the Cyprus sunshine becomes more appealing than sitting on your arse after a while

Foderingham is going to Cyprus where the transfer window is still open
Is Saudi still open? Can they PLEASE take Rodriguez if so
Said last season that even at 40 Fabianski looked capable of playing another season as no2
There wasn’t a massive difference between him & Areola when he played last season

I’m actually surprised no one snapped up Fab over the summer.
Maybe he was being selective, as he wanted to stay in London.

on telly i saw a fat, washed up, ex - manager called Wayne Rooney
Still, he's younger than Fabianski
.
Rooney’s younger than Ronaldo, who’ll be starting CF for Portugal at the World Cup next summer.
A shame Rooney didn’t look after himself better, as he could’ve surely had a good couple of extra seasons before hanging up his boots.

He's confirmed as returned on the OS.

Yes. It wouldn't surprise me.
What a circus the club is under Sullivan, Brady, Noble and the rest of the board.

The club done this before with Carlton Cole, under the stewardship of the two geniuses, so it’s not a surprise.
He should have been given another year or two anyway. People are fitter and stronger than ever, and it won’t be long before you see players playing up to 50. I reckon Ronaldo will do it.
Ain’t there a Jap stiker who’s about 50 odd still playing.
