Comical appointment.
Thanks to UEFA changing the rules, both the Conference and the Europa League are now much easier to win (not like when we were in them). They are clearly hoping the Aussie fraud gets lucky twice.

Definitely. I'll be interested to see how the players adapt to such a big change in philosophy as well from sitting back and breaking to 'Ange ball' assuming he's going to try and make them play that way immediately. They are pretty young and energetic so it might not be that much of a problem, but unless their centre backs are rapid they could find themselves getting done on the break pretty often. The pace of Van Der Ven got spurs out of a lot of bad situations under Ange which would have been punished more regularly if there wasn't a lightning quick centre back there. Similar to the reasons we kept getting murdered on the break under Lop.

This could be a disaster for Forest. Just like us it'll be a total philosophy switch and do they have the players for it? Not sure about that. They will need an absolutely rapid CB like Van Der Ven to not get raped at the back with the way he will want to play, really high up the field compared to Nuno.
Plus Ange and the owner will really butt heads with him being so blunt in interviews, especially if it's not going well.
Could be absolute carnage there now.

Edu is going to want flair players going forward. Nuno probably doesnt want the players he has in mind as it doesn't suit how he wants to play. Edu is now directly managing Nuno instead of him being able to chat to the owner so he’s pissed off. He’d rather get a pay off than leave, Nuno’s agent advises him to say what he said.. and he gets what he wants.
He’s a top proven manager so he’ll get another top job. Forests loss really, Not sure they will find someone who can go from defensive counter attack football to flair stuff pretty easily though.
