Summerville

Lively player but I'm getting concerned with his lack of end product. I'm convinced Nuno observed the same last evening which is why he hooked him.

He seems like a poor man's Kudus and more like a Benrahma type player with the promise but lack of end product. If he showed more composure last evening he could have got at least one assist.

I've been a supporter of Summerville since we signed him but I hope the Championship doesn't prove to be his level.

How is receiving the MotM performance not evidence of a decent end product to a game.. 🤨

I am OK with him not scoring many as long as he's creating opportunities for others by stretching defences and pulling players out of position and causing panic so his teammates find favourable situations. He is an absolute nuisance to deal with and set Diouf off down the flank a couple of times. That take which was sadly just offside was fabulous.

He seems a bit of a nightmare for a full back with his movement and pace and needs to be accounted for every moment of a game. You can still be very effective without chipping in with a bunch of goals, provided your presence is opening up opportunity for your teammates. He's a handful. If he can add some goals and assists then fantastic but he's well worth his place in the team.

Easy to forget he's only started a handful of games for us. Mostly a sub up until his injury against Villa and only returned as a sub against Forest.

He was instrumental in the win against Forest. He runs himself into trouble a bit too much sometimes, but one of my favourite players at the moment. Doesn't have the finesse of Bowen, but I remember Bowen getting hooked a lot when he first started playing for us as he would try and do too much, too. Summerville is unlikely to follow that exact trajectory, but he's still one to watch this season.

'Last evening' isn't a phrase. 'Last night' is, yet you've said 'last evening' twice in one short post. I'm uncomfortable reading that so I can't address the topic.

He wasn't one of the best players on the pitch.

He was THE best player on the pitch, by some distance. Not long after returning from a long spell out injured and no pre season.

Try to do a bit better with these wind up attempts, you wally.

Yeah... Sky player of the match. What a useless cÕ½nt
Took some stick and was limping at full time when the players headed over to the away fans
COYI trying to be edgy and change the narrative again
Boring

He took a bit of stick and was hobbling after another whack just before he was replaced, but his pace and directness was good to see.

He was easily one of our best players last night. More likely he was hooked because he'd been out of action for 8 months and only restarted training a few weeks ago so probably ain't ready for 90 mins.

I expect that he'll do a lot better under Nuno than our previous 2 managers and he seems to link up well with Diouf.

He was one of our best players last night. Coming back from a long injury. A poor man's Kudus is harsh.

Accepted that he DOES need to improve on assists/goals.
