If those are your views then fine, you are totally entitled to them. I have to conclude that you prefer to be lied to and taken for a fool by our 'leaders' rather than have someone who is doing exactly what they promised when running for election.
No I take exception to Trump being compared to any UK prime minister except Boris who was a complete liar. Starmer, Sunak and Truss were and are incompetent and definitely are dubious when it comes to telling the truth as are all politicians.
However Trump is another level, lied all through his campaign and continues today, you have been following recent events right?
He has systematically destroyed the reputation of the US government and lies to cover his true intentions. He is a revolting excuse for mankind blaming DEI for the plane crash when he'd sacked the head of the FAA and sacked the Airline Safety Committee as part of his revenge for Musks fines.
Just deplorable what a fucking mess and hes only been in for 2 weeks. How any right minded person with an ounce of intelligence can support him now is beyond me.
Shame on all of you.

Spot on ED.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Trump or his policies, he is delivering on what he promised the American people. How refreshing when you consider his attitude compared to the mealy mouthed lying weasels we have to contend with.
Also very funny watching the MSM over there absolutely frothing as their bullshit gains no traction with the public.Yeah about as refreshing as Hitler carrying out all of his threats. I can't believe the crap some of you are coming out with - when you consider "mealy mouthed lying weasels" you can't be serious when comparing Trump in a positive light as he is an habitual liar - misinformation and outright lying got him to be president and he is now continuing in the same vein now he is there he is acting not in the interests of the American people, but wholly in the interest of his oligarch chums and his own pockets.
I thought even the stupidest posters on here (barring wannabee yank Nutsack) would see through the Trump bullshit.
What a disgusting self interested scum bag he is and no one can deny it!
What lies and disinformation, Boots?
And what is he doing specifically that's wholly in the interest of his oligarch chums?

Stick to being worried about America invading Greenland or Panama over what I think of Trump.
Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
What's interesting about Greenland is the UK legally has first refusal to buy if Denmark decide to sell it, would be hilarious if that played out. Might be the reason for Trump's sudden u turn on Starmer last week

It's an opinion. Many people more intelligent than you or I have said for a while now that DEI would have disastrous effects long term, it's not something he's just pulled out of nowhere. You can disagree with that by all means, others will disagree with you, but it hardly means they're just 'lapping it up'.

You do realise that the french do exactly the same thing with the English Channel?
A body of water much closer to our hearts. How much worry do you have over them calling it La Manche? Is it more or less than what the Americans, or I, call the Gulf of America?

Unless you agree on what the Chinese are doing globally is better for the world (it isn't).
Tell me exactly what you're talking about in regards to China and the Panama Canal?Chinese companies operate in ports at the ends of the canal after they legally bid for the rights to do so but so do U.S. and Taiwanese companies in bigger numbers75% of canal use is the US. while China is .21% of it's traffic.
What exactly is it that means US should seize the canal?
China is the biggest user of the Suez Canal by the way, should US seize that to?

I listened to his speech on LBC - it was was crazy but to be fair to him he did say they had listened to the tapes and they had a good idea of what caused the crash.
