Watched Vicious at the weekend, worth a watch.

Watched Weapons last night. Really enjoyed it. Thought it was going to be just an average horror movie but it’s more a mystery.

Watched Nobody 2 at weekend, started off ok, then falls in to the Hollywood, men are weak women are tough shiz, they all do. 

Baddest of the bad guy is actually a bad girl completely hammed up and shit Sharon Stone, gets saved by his wife ( you worked it our half way through) coz heaven forbid a man can save himself these days.

Fuck off. 

I think they have just noticed that men have stopped watching this Mary Sue shit. And women were never much interested in the first place and still aren't. Give them a couple more years and it may be respectable to be a white man that isn't an idiot and a weed.

On Netflix I stumbled across "The Thursday Murder Club" based on the novel by Richard Osman. Cracking British cast including Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie plus other well known faces.  Reminded me a bit of "Knives Out" the first one I which really enjoyed.  Enjoyed this too, just a nice easy film to watch.  

Pretty sure I have mentioned this before but watched again the other night "A Walk in the Woods" with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte.  Third time I have seen it and still enjoy it third time around.  Highly enjoyable if anyone hasn't seen it.

That's a bit disappointing.  I only watched Nobody the other month on a flight and it was one of the films you watch with little expectation, but was actually pretty good.

I was planning on watching the second one but I'll give it a swerve now.

I can't wait for the day Hollywood wakes up and ceases all this woke shit.

I watched Black Bag last week. A spy movie with a great cast and very little violence or sex. 

What struck me about it was the almost total lack of emotion and the way in which the characters dealt with facts or more correctly tried to identify what the truth was. It was the polar opposite of almost all movies now days.

I enjoyed it but I can imagine those who love emotions wouldnt.

I enjoyed it as well. I guess not to spoil things their occupations probably made them pretty unfeeling. I love Marisa Abela,

Watched The Instigators on Apple TV last night. Expected it to be decent as stars Matt Damon, Casey Affleck and Ron Pearlman. Fucking hell, what an utter dogshit movie.

Downloaded a decent copy of Caught Stealing to watch over the weekend. Matt Smith as a cockney with a mohican in 90s NYC.and directed by Aronofsky.  What could go wrong?

Watched a film called Honey Don't. Terrible movie except for the great lesbian scenes with 2 of my favourite hotties Aubrey Plaza and Margaret Qualley (The Substance) .Also a newbie Lera Abova getting her kit off.

Saw nobody 2 couple of weeks back.

Not quite as good as the awesome first one  but still Damn good. 


 

Turned off after 20mins after he singly fights off about 30 people. And I thought John Wick was far fetched. The bus scene in the the first at least is kinda realistic. This is stupid.

Went to the cinema for the first time in years Saturday as my daughter fancied going to see the new Conjuring, not a bad horror as it goes,

Forgot how much I enjoy the cinema, as I only ever watch films on firestick.

Just found out. They have finally made a film version of Stephen King’s. The Long Walk. (King wrote it in college.) And has a young guys look on how too act within society. It certainly won’t be everyones Cuppa. But if it’s half as good as the novel. Then it will be seen as a very good adaptation.
