What's happened to Villa?

It happens from time to time when a decent Manager/Team go through a bit of a sticky patch they faulter. They'll soon enough climb the table again sticking by a proven winner. Newcastle are also currently faltering themsevles but all with more than enough quality to cope whilst also competing in Cups in Europe. 

I see Sunderland have picked up another valuable point against them. It's dangerous to see the likes of newly promoted Clubs Sunderland and Leeds pulling away from us already. Still, yoy continue to srag your little heels Sulley, no rush...

Casey's been on the bench these past few weeks but he started for Swansea against Forest tonight and played the full 90.  They were 2-0 down at HT (2 goals by Igor Jesus) but won 3-2 with 2 goals in added time

Emerson was taken off with about 10 minutes left at the Bernabeu and they concede the winning goal to Real Madrid a couple minutes later.

Apparently Emerson Palmieri won 8/8 ground duels at the Bernabeu vs Real Madrid last night. 

We sold him for under £1M and needlessly splurge around £20M for a replacement we really didn't need whilst not addressing other areas properly like up front and we wonder why we have financial issues in the market. Resorting to an injury prone unfit Freebie near the end of the window. Classic example. 

It's just weird. The only thing I can think is that he chucked a wobbler like Aguerd and Alzarez and refused to play for us any longer and so had to go. It was him that wasn't turning up for training wasn't it. Now I'm not going to speculate who's fault it is that a few players seemed disenfranchised at the club over the last 12 months, but it's extremely unprofessional to down tools like these three seem to have done whatever the circumstances, whether it's that you don't like what's happening or if the club isn't playing in Europe any longer or you're told you're not in the plans.

It's very unusual and all 3 (that we know of) at the same time. Why..

Well, exactly. Yes it could be the manager(s), could be broken promises from the owner, could be disappointment with how the team (which they are meant to be a part of) is performing, could be something else. But all I will say is their commitment is to West Ham United rather than any individual, and in at least two out of those three cases, we know their attitude has completely stunk in the last 12 months under more than one manager- far longer than 12 months in the case of Aguerd. Almost from the moment he turned up. Whatever the case, the lack of professionalism is simply shocking.
