I sussed the Sixth Sense when he was sitting in a restaurant with his wife and she paid!

Saw a good war film tonight on Netflix. The Great Raid from 2005. True story about a battalion of American soldiers trying to rescue POWs from a Japanese camp. Not sure if this went under the radar when it came out or I just didn't see it but well worth a watch.

Any one seen The Ballard Of Wallace Island yet?

A lovely, funny, gentle film about a bloke who wins the lottery and wants his favourite 90s English folk band to play on his lonely island for one night.

It's much better than I've made it sound!

Agree on the twist thing so fucking annoying, people wouldnt shut up when sixth sense came out about an amazing twist, guessed it as soon as the "I see dead people" line is mentioned, probably would have missed it if people just kept their mouth shut.

I think pretty much every film of that genre is going to have twist at the end. I think you'd be pretty naive not to think so.

If you go into a film knowing the end is going to subvert the narrative and flow then it's going to colour your viewing experience, maybe its because you went to film school I dont know.

I watched The Housemaid last night. Was a pretty good thriller. Those who lust after Sydney Sweeny will love it.

Ironically, O’Connell keeps playing significant British roles such as 79’ as a being hunted by the IRA and as Paddy Mayne, the iconic Northern Irish SAS founder. 

Great actor though.

I watched Send Help yesterday. Quite enjoyed it and a nice twist in the end. Not what I expected at all.
