Frankly I'm glad we dont have Fernandes out there risking rolling his ankle in a divot or Summerville snapping that hamstring on a heavy pitch, or Taty getting an impact injury from some meathead centreback.
They should be trying to just give it to Adama and asking him to steamroll through these cloddimg cunts. The ref and the pitch are very much evening things up here.
Yeah, no way I’d want to risk our best players in this shit tbh. Bad enough having todibo out. Just imagine Summerville or Bowen getting injured in this shit. Nah.

Also the weight of passing is off because they ball moves so slowly on the pitch, it bobbles when it arrives. The pitches at Rush Green put this pitch to shame.
There are lots of "levellers" in play in this game.

Poor Kante. Cant pass, cant run, can't defend.

The problem is Kante and the back 5 formationPerhaps but I watched him closely against QPR (a game Nuno hooked him at half time in), and I lost any faith in him after he stunk the place out in that game.
He is a poor passer and doesn't put himself about. A waste of space (and £20 odd million or whatever they paid for him).
Fair enough. But I think the biggest problem in this match is
1.The system 523 against Burton ffs
2. Myers is a complete waste
3. Kilman is an accident waiting to happen.
4. Kante, totally lost here.
5. Traore, not a footballer. More like a torpedo.

You know it doesn’t work like that. This is high level professional sport. Patterns of play, understanding between players and just overall sharpness all come with minutes in proper competitive games. Not training. You can accommodate a few rusty players but not 10! It will always produce stuff like this.
Re: Burton Albion vs West Ham | FA Cup | 12.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Cor this is drab. Some of these fringe players just aren’t good enough. Magassa after some early promise I’m really not sure about.
Kilman even looks out of touch at this level.

Why does Nuno at times go to 532, it never works, we have 2 lumps in midfield and zero creativity. Get a CB off get Potts on FFS

To me, the team selection shows that Sullivan priorities PL survival over the FA Cup. Maybe it isn't solely down to Nuno

Hopefully Burton will get tired out in the second half and we will nick a goal. Other than that, scrappy, not exactly enjoyable to watch. Is this the squad we will have if we get relegated?

very rusty, inaccurate passing (bad pitch?)
