Made 10 changes, so it was never going to be straightforward.

That said, we had to be better than that. Flat performance from a lot of second-stringers who cost big money (compared with Burton).

Kilman struggling with the movement of League One forwards?! The guy is a busted flush, yet he’s under contract for another five years. NOBODY is going to take him at 100k a week.

We might have to swallow some of his ongoing wages to offload him.

I think if he had got taty and jimmy on 5/10 mins earlier, we would have wrapped it up in the 90. That was my only criticism, the game plan was to get a win and no injuries. Its unfortunate about Potts but he wont do it again . .   Burton had a good old go but i think Areola was well able to deal with it all. We've all seen pitches like that before but it would have been tricky for our pampered peteens.

We know our team is shit beyond the first choice 11, and as others have said any injury to bowen, summerville, fernandes and even taty probably results in relegation.

They gave wilson 100 + minutes to finish him off, so they wouldnt have to listen to him on him the coach going home. I cant see him starting any more games for us.

Boleyngone/daveyg

You are a miserable prick.

We are through, that’s the goal.

You reckon the back 5 is here to stay? I reckon you are a fucking moron. He will revert back to 4 for the Bournemouth game, he isn’t as stupid as you look.

How you get joy from anything is beyond me? The tv crews turned up expecting a shock, we let them down.

Strange comparison.
Manchester was able to dominate the play an pass the ball to each other, while we were defending a late goal and hoof the ball away as soon as we could.

Had a look at the Kidderminster line up 4 years ago. I never thought Moyes had the biggest of squads to work with but in that game Rice, Fornals, Lanzini, Antonio, Soucek, Dawson, Fabianski, Coufal and Ogbonna all didn’t start or play at all. Moyes also didn’t play or bring on a single youth player.

Expect much of the same in the next round. We have a wafer thin squad. Quite incredible how limited it is despite Rice being sold for huge money. Nuno is working with a lot less than Moyes had. A serious injury to either Summerville, Bowen or Fernandes and we are down imo.

BoleynGone so you think he should have played more youths, you've not mentioned it before.

I think it's great that the rest of the squad got some minutes and those that have been playing got a rest and we're through... Lots to like unless you're a miserable cսnt, hope it hasn't damaged your soul too much.

deal
bollocks to that, Nuno made it harder by his selections. a back 3 against LG1, it wasn't City. I mean Cardiff here.
His continued negative football and approach is appallling, Paco ain't going to last long as he'll be having a heart attack and the other coward Mark Robson just agrees with everything Nuno says. He's watched and managed the u21's and still ignores the most skillfull u21 in Orford. Kante and Magassa are to a like both were poor .Kante was knackered well before the 90 mins and there's no way Wilson was contributing anything after 65 mins but here we are Wilson still playing 105 minutes, that's more minutes Wilson has played under Nuno this year. Ajala would have added more energy and desire. Baffling from the Crackhead. No sub until the 71st minute of a poor display throughout. Then a defensive midfielder for a woeful attacker. No energy with that, why Potts FFS ?
Some lunatic said Nuno had us playing the best footballer in years, Fuck right off. It's been ok.
The back 3 passing along to each other then to either Scarles and KWP who were bith crap at passing forward. This comes down to the tactics and management. Mavro was the only one passing forward and half his passes went to the opposition.
I can't see us beating Bournemouth as Nuno will be even more shit scared of them, scoring for fun against any team.
Back 5 here to stay folks.

I thought the same about Wilson yesterday, he can't start games any longer. We are basically a forward short. I won't be shocked if we see Bowen through the middle a little more.

As for Kilman, suppose he was OK against a lower league side, but this cսnt should be thanking buddha every day because he is one of the luckiest human beings breathing air every day. It doesn't help that he looks spaced out all game.

Taty was more his 38 minutes than Wilson in his 110. He is far from perfect, but his mobility and movement is exactly why he is the main starter, and Wilson the deputy. I’ve said before Wilson can’t start. Today and last week showed that. He’s a very useful player for the last 30 against a tired defence though.

The FA  Cup is all about the result...I couldn't give a shit about performance.
It's been a while since we've been in the hat for the 5th round, so I'm happy.

Weren’t pretty but didn’t expect it to be.

these games are never easy. Complete second string (we have very little depth) and we have gone through aswell as resting key players. Only few years ago we just about overcame non league Kidderminster despite having likes of Rice, Noble, Zouma, Bowen and Benrahma on the pitch.

Nonone really stood out but I like the look of Ezra Mayers. Only 19 and looks like he has the attributes to make it.

Orford was far better than all our front 5 in the 15 minutes he was on.
How LaMadrid got to start ahead of him or Traroe is beyond belief.  His touch, passing, tackling, positioning and attacking was vastly superior. Should have been played in at the end too.

Nuno's negative team selection set us up once again for a near impossible chance even against LG1. Why does he do this, all Kilman did was pass along the back 3. But this is what happens when Nuno selects that back 3, it limits the team all round. An extra body who can actually pass in midfield is way better than an extra defender. Orford is the best at this in the u21's. He could have gone with another striker too. Players got in each others way and didn't come for the ball. Kante completely lost alongside Magassa both do the same thing. Nuno nearly fucked this up,he did try very hard to but in the end he couldn't quite achieve it.

Awful game. We struggled in central midfield as they had 3 against Magassa and Kante who got little or no help from Lamadrid and Traore. They also refreshed that area with their subs and stopped us playing ( a good tactic that worked for them ). Kante needs to improve a lot technically as we thought but worked hard. Magassa looked rusty and not fully match fit but also worked very hard and got better as the game went on. There is a player in there though I think? He’s young and it often takes a run of games and time for a player to get to PL level on a consistent basis.  His 120 mins of action prove be useful though as he will now replace Potts against Bmouth I would guess? .

Wilson was awful I thought and looked his age today. Sure the service werent great but he wasted the few openings he got and generally looked very slow and struggled physically in duels. I suppose in his defence, we know he cannot play up top alone but even alongside Taty we should not he expecting too much. Losing Pablo is a bit of a blow tbh. He’s raw and not very quick but his out of possession work (?pressing etc ) has been very good and we will really miss it imo.

Big positive was Mayers. Strong physically, quick and good passing. Hopefully he can progress to be a first team squad regular if he’s not there already.

What this game confirmed, and its no surprise. We have a wafer thin squad in terms of PL quality and have to pray that the girst choice 11 a 14 players largely remain fit for the rest of the season
