The new screen blocking ones are a pain in the arse! I’ve resorted to Brave to get rid of the them.

I don't see a time this site could ever be 'pay to play'. 

Have thought about 'buy me a coffee' before but it doesn't feel very WHO. 

What we potentially could do is offer an 'ad-free' experience in relation to donations (although if you want that you can obviously just use an Ad Blocker). 

Fortunately we just about break even with the level of advertising we have and the volume of traffic....we certainly won't be retiring on the back of the WHO community any time soon that's for sure!

Said it before, Stubbo, I’d pay a monthly fee to the site. Make it optional like YouTubers offering memberships or ‘buy me a coffee’ voluntary appreciation. 

I know people piss and moan about the site, but there’s other choices and they choose to remain here. 

I don't like this, if you pay for a site like this, you should be immune to banning, but then it almost encourages the sort of stuff that would otherwise get you banned so lowers the quality of post, losing subscribers and failing to attract new ones, then the site dies even though you paid your tenner.

Not if it’s a voluntary contribution. Rules is rules. Act a cսnt and get a ban.

I have removed the ads completely until Google give access to the controls again. May take a while to pick it up. But trying to sort it out.

Back in Brave as there’s no way to close the ads unless you have a browser with an ad-blocker on your phone. 

Muscle memory will mean I open Safari.
