Pablo- is he absolute gash?
He’s got me stumped. He puts in so much effort and runs all day and makes us a lot better off the ball as well as trying hard when we have it, harasses defenders and tires the opposition out to give a good opportunity for Wilson to come on. I like him. We are better when he’s playing…
BUT he seems like an utter donkey. Giraffe on roller skates. Woeful touch under any sort of pressure and off the speed of the game in any sort of tight situation and looks less likely to score than Areola. Like the absolute opposite of Wilson who has none of th physical tools but all the brain and composure.
So what do we make of him?

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
Sometimes it has taken a couple of players to get up to speed and hard work with effort has got them through a strange start as they have been affective , Fornals was not great at first but he worked so hard so was affective from the start and eventually the rest of his game got up to speed.

We'll definitely miss his energy. Bit fucking weird how cagey the club are being. Won't be good news.Very true, but you would expect we have someone who can replicate more or less what he's been doing.
We paid a fair bit for him to come in and do a specific job, not sure we would have done if we had someone who could replicate it as we had nobody doing it before he arrived

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
Suggestion is he was still injured and it was being managed...but obviously the pace of the game compared to what he was used to, and it's been exacerbated to the point of now keeping him out
Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
Also saw on the rumor sites the club are being cagey about what the injury actually is. Had only recently come back from a thigh injury before we signed him. Surely not another ignored failed medical. We'll certainly miss him.

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
I think he'll be a big miss, he's a big physical presence and links the play, I just don't see the same from Wilson. Adama is like a bull in a China shop. Hopefully Nuno has a plan.

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
I think fraser was trying a bit too hard here with his his coaching manual. Formations don't win games, players do. These managers are paid millions a year to find 'solutions' as Nuno puts it. We ain't gonna nosedive because a headless chicken is out for a bit.

Yet we’re going down now because he’s out for a bit.

I hope he tries one of the youngsters out, I don't think Wilson is up to it.
Nobody has said that, but he has worked out an effective formula to get us pressing and our intensity up.. But as usual we're paper thin without adequate cover... We've seen the drop off when the front two tire, now there's one of them.

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
As long as Fernandes, Bowen & Summerville all stay fit, we have a chance of staying up.
An injury to any one of them, and we're toast.

It's a big blow to how we want to play...Yea yea, we know that Pep. Well done. So a bloke who we brought in from Portugal who nobody had heard of who has no pace, no technical ability, can't score, but runs around a lot, is now a big problem that he's unavailable? I'm not having it. Like I say it's a blow but there's more than one way to skin a cat and I am not expecting our form to nosedive based on this fella being out. It sounds like you do. Your opinion.
You don't have to have it do you, it's my opinion from what I've seen and yeah you're right about his abilities on the ball but he causes chaos and drags the opposition defence around and we've been better when they've both started and it isn't a coincidence IMO of course

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
our biggest problem is negative bollocks reverting back to his old ways and taking away an attacking player. I don't think for a minute that he'll give one of the kids a start up front in the league (he should, ajala being one), but we're only staying up if he keeps things positive

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
As long as Wilson stays fit I'm not sure it's an issue, biggest problem will be if Wilson gets crocked and lets face it the cսnt has form.
Would imagine Nuno will be using Wilson sparingly though, subbed early or subbed on early, take your pick
.
Is Pablo gash though???? TBH i have only watched highlights given my displeasure of all things West Ham, so fucks knows, but let's give the cսnt a chance, although that chance maybe in the championship, although with the current Forest situation it may well be down to them tuning shit rather than us going on an extend run of wins, we are better but im not sure going 5 or 6 on the trot is ging to happen....................

Can Lamadrid run around like a nutter for 70:mins?
No need when we have Wilson available. Relying on an inexperienced player new to the League instead would be some wacky shit.

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
Would be typically West Ham for this to be true.
At least they didn't let Wilson go in the end, but as I said at the time the diving, cheating, showboating Brazilian fraud should have been replaced after he downed tools and returned to Brazil. That Gomez geezer who went on loan to Wolves was one option for example.
Typical Sullivan penny pinching.

If true that massively affects our chances of staying up in my opinion.
