We are comfortably a top 10 side right now and it's going to be gut wrenching if we go down and to see the squad stripped bare.
This is pretty much how I feel. We're in a place now where we're competing together toe to toe with the top form sides in the division, but have dug such a big hole that we'll likely go down regardless.
Just have to hope that somehow it's still possible on the last day to win and stay up.

They are both awful footballers. Kante gets a bit of a pass as we picked him up as a youth for next to nothing. But these idiots shelled out nearly £30 million for Magassa. A total waste of money and ridiculous signing given he is an awful footballer.
Bowen is knackered, hence his down turn in form, but is 100% focussed on getting more knackered to keep us up. That came from a close relative of his, who I cross paths with from time to time.
He been carrying a knock? He does at times look miles off it (for his usual high standards) and wasn't good at all last night. Not that I expect him to do it all the time anyway. You can't ever blame him at least for busting a bollock for the cause.

He's finally done better since then starting with Spurs to his more recent credit yet we are still having to beg for other Teams to keep slipping up as we fail to capitalise on good opportunities ourselves when presented them. Today's games are no different when really we should have put the squeeze on all Teams above us anyway. Leeds have managed to dig themselves out and we cannot keep expecting Teams to be as dogshit as Spurs have been all the time trying their level best to go down instead of us.
It's still not terminal yet but we don't help ourselves when given the chance to apply serious pressure.
Potter, Nuno and The Clowns, for me. Sounds like an obscure shit music band from the 70's just to rub insult in to injury.
The simple reality is if Nuno was here at the beginning of the season we wouldn't be going down. I won't even bother to read you attempting to rebut that simple fact, but off you go anyway.

Why is it that every time we play a team and they don’t batter us people say things like “they were below par” but never give us credit for making them “below par”?
it’s how you play against teams that make them play shit isn’t it? In the form table it’s Man U, Chelsea and Bournemouth, then us. We have been competitive in all of these games yet for some reason when we play these teams they are not their usual self, and we should have beat them. Ffs, can’t you see we are doing that to these teams?
I know we need the points, that’s the reality. But at least give us some credit for making these teams work their arses off to even handle us.

Potter was outed as a complete fraud. Never should have been still here at the start of the season. Nuno to his credit has sorted out a lot of the mess, dropping some and getting the best out of others. Mads suddenly looks very assured, helped no doubt by a decent CB pairing in front of him.
If we go down it's on Potter and the clowns that appointed him and sacked him too late.

He should have gone with the logical team I predicted he would have gone for. We would have won if he had done that.
Magassa must never start for us again. Terrible footballer.
You're trying way too hard, so you wanted the negative coward Nuno (your words or close) to go more defensive by picking the Barca reject championship level centre back Todibo (again your words) and this would have won us the game.. Hilarious

We will know a lot more about how Forest are shaping up under the new bloke later, but I fear the worst for sure.
If Palace lose to Wolves they are still in it, as will Spurs if they lose. We're not down in February, but we need to pull some results out the fire, starting from next week.

Re: West Ham vs Bournemouth | PL | 21.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
In isolation it's a decent point and we are defending well now, and maybe we haven't done our dough on Mads after all, but we needed a win and now we are looking for Liverpool for some help later, it's beginning to get very tiring.
When you break it down, Summerville aside, we just lack any real quality in the final third. Watching the game it started to become fairly obvious we weren't going to score. Taty tries hard but lacks real quality and Bowen hasn't really stepped up IMO, and I don't think we need to worry about any of the big boys coming in for the Portugeezer anytime soon.
Couldn't fault Nuno's game plan or his subs.
Not looking good, is it.

If the other clubs down the bottom have the bollocks to go for the wins and are reaping more rewards than us can you explain how we while playing 3 of the top 4 form teams over the last 6 games have more points than all those teams down the bottom over those last 6 games?

Needs to hit the target from 20yds!You can't define his match performance down to that shot. Get a grip ffs
I know! He’s a good addition to our midfield and has some engine on him! Thought I’d add a bit of levity to the day with an old Bobby Zamora song.Which was also unwarranted I might add!

Think this game was crying out for someone like Fearon to come on to give some real attacking pace nd fst passing, especially through the middle.
Felt like we dawdled a fair bit in the passing compared with previous, do think the nerves were showing with a lot of snatched passes.

A draw is a decent result against a very organised side who defend as a unit and have been averaging 2 goals a game. So a clean sheet is pretty impressive on its own. We had a few chances but a draw was fair and lets hope Forest and Spurs slip up.

These draws are no good to us. Unfortunately we are lumbered with a manager who doesn’t have the courage to send out a team to ‘go for it’. We’re at the stage where we have to take a few risks in order to get some wins. The trouble is don’t think he has the bollocks for it.
