Replace Soucek with Fearon in Pablo's role.
Full of running and great passing to link up the midfield and attack.
It's the simplest change, and he showed how good he was in pre season compared to our then midfield/ dead wood.

This worked against Sunderland for part of the game but Liverpool are a bit different. Doesn't mean both stay in those positions. It could be a better option. I feel Soucek has had his few good games and now goes back to the indifferent self. We don't have many alternatives due to Nuno letting go of our best young attackers.

also want a different bench not this 7 defensive shit.
Areola. Todibo,KWP,Ajala,Orford,Wilson,Traore,Scarles,Kante.
Kids, kids kids

He has played kids those that he and his coaching staff think are good enough.. Those not deemed ready aren't getting picked or have gone out on loan..if they're good enough he'll pick them. No point having Orford on the bench if he's not ready to play he couldn't even get minutes for Stevenage

Taty is an intelligent player but he needs others around him. Not great at being the lone man. Bowen has not really been back to his best since going back out wide so him alongside Taty could work.

Summerville has to stay on the left. He’ll absolutely rape Szboslai, who they’ve had at RB recently.

Yep i hear you, I think what would make most sense is playing Bowen up there with Taty but that only leaves Traore as the RW option.   The squad strip in January has fucked us.

Can see your point Rossal, we did offer more when someone is linking the play like Pablo did but I don't think anyone else can do that role effectively.

Its hardly rearranging the whole team.    Its going back to the system where we have looked the best recently (two up top)  and putting our best player in that run in his best position (Fernandes in the deeper two)

If we are going to win the game we need to score goals and take the pressure of the defence by posing a threat going forward. I don't see how we do that unless we get someone attacking close to Taty like Pablo was.

I agree Soucek should be replaced,  theres plenty of options.   Play Fernandes and Magassa.  Move Bowen up top with Taty and bring in someone on the right.    Or bring Jimmy into the 10 and play someone else wide left.     or play Taty and Wilson up top together.
Nope I wouldn't be rearranging the whole team
Me neither plus I can't see Bowen and Taty working as they are too similar.

   Bowen   Jimmy       Diouf

                  Taty

Mayers to do a job on Salah.  Fernandes in his better position which is deeper.  Jimmy in the 10 and Diouf to ping crosses in for Taty
Potts is suspended for 3 games.

Throwing in Mayers is akin to what Potter did to Scarles last season at Anfield.

Not a good idea.

Suspect there will be one or two changes. I'm not overly fussed either way as while I appreciate tactics are important in the modern game it's ultimately players that decide games and take chances when presented to them, so yea bottom line we need to convert chances to win games of football. Fancy we might get a point here and then hope the seagulls can do us a favour on Sunday.

I'd take a draw now if offered.
Yea ..I can see the manager playing  Todibo  in this one....with Fulham on the weds and our thin squad it's shit or bust now ..which one though ?
We need a win from one of them ... realistically.

Times change..?
