I would argu that Bowen is 'beond his peak'.  I think he's lost half a yard of pace over the last year or so.  Doesn't mean he's past it, and he's clearly struggling for his best form, but IMO one of the physical assets that he relied on isn't quite what it was.

He's shown signs earlier in the season that he can adapt to that, but it will likely make him less effective as time goes on.  His longevity will then be defined by his fotball intelligence as that pace over the first 5 yards diminishes.

But no one should have anything bad to say about Jarrod. The lads been as solid a servant to this club as anyone could hope for, and it will be a sad day when he's no longer here.

Bowen and Summerville look great when we have two up front in the middle occupying defenders and creating space. 

Summerville was totally ineffective until we started that after Christmas. 

The two of them have looked worse in the last couple of games because of an inexplicable decision to revert to a system which got us in the mess in the first place and away from a system that looked like getting out of it. 

I hope he sorts himself out and drops Magassa for Wilson.

Nah, I'm not having that at all, way too convenient and far from professional. Yes, he doesn't need pelters because he's been off it, but he's an elite footballer, a pro and club captain, in that world you don't just down tools, which is basically what you are suggesting, and is a bit of an insult to him to suggest that.

Agreed, one thing you can never accuse Bowen off is not giving his all.  Same goes for Scott Parker who ran himself into the ground for us in that last season with us.

He’s not past it just having a dip in form in a season of struggle, don’t quite get this needs a break stuff from though we’re not in Europe and he gets rested for cup games, he’s a footballer that’s what they do !

No he isn't. He has been played into the ground by a hapless string of managers, not had a decent break in three years, and has been made captain which his personality is simply not suited too. All contribute to a poor run of form.
Good player, good bloke, needs a break as he is bang out of form.
Sadly shit ownership and managers have left us almost totally reliant on him so won't get the break, form may not return until he leaves and ridiculous threads like this will fuel the trash talk around one of our better players..

Probably been getting sleepless nights with his twin babies - that sort of thing sounds like it should be a long way away from the life of an elite footballer but it can have a big impact. He looks jaded and it's affecting his timing and decision-making. I don't go along with the theory that he's looking for a move. The sad thing is that if his dip in form carries on, he's got no chance of going to the World Cup and he won't get a top club coming in for him.

As captain, he is almost certainly aware of the financial mess we've gotten into, and the consequences of that for himself and several other key players. The upheaval on his family life will be significant, on top of which, I doubt he actually 'wants' to go anywhere else.

Sullivan is engineering this mess, I'm sure; he is looking for any excuse to sell the family silver. This club will never prosper until he and Brady fk off down the road and give us a fresh start with new owners. I'd love to think we can stay up, but we are just falling short every time we get a favourable wind.

Don't know what the fuss is about.
He was unlucky that Allison's pass that hit him didn't go in, he was in the right place chasing the keepere down.Created a great chance for Soucek by beating two defenders,assist for Taty's goal.
If people want to blame someone look at AWB's closing down for every attack. Gakpo's goal was because he was to lazy and scared to face the shot. He's defending like this most of the season.
Bowen was miles better than Salah too.

See him quite close up in home games and has recently looked fatigued or carrying a knock

He’s had his moments for sure, but there’s a reason that he’s had his peak years playing for West Ham.

Always looked like a competition winner when playing for England too.
