Sp*rs v Palarse
Such a huge game tonight, feel like it needs a thread of its own.
Can't see anything other than a Sp*rs win but hope I'm wrong!

Re: Sp*rs v Palarse
as long as they had that five point+ gap, I'd have said the same. that's over, their best defender is already looking at a move (allegedly flashing his y-fronts at real madrid) and the other CB is openly slagging the owners. we're a fucking mess, but they're worse

I don't think spurs will end up going down but the hysteria surrounding their club is brilliant.

As we ascend they descend and right at the wrong time.
Where we look united, they look fractured. Where we are competitive, they look beaten before they kick a ball. Where we are organised and can defend, they look dysfunctional and easy to open up. Spurs, right now, are everything that we were from start of the season up to end of December.
And the worst thing for them, they have got so many injuries where we basically have a full squad to pick from, bar a couple.
Another thing in our favour is that the fans are behind Nuno and the team. He has clearly found what works. The fans are up for the battle as we have geared ourselves for this all season, as quite frankly, we have been crap for most of it. So our attitude is, we are on the front line, in a battle, let's get on with it. The players too - It really looks like Nuno has them ready to go to war for him and they are up for it. The Spurs fans have known they have been crap for a little while, but they have sleep walked into the reality of a relegation battle right at the wrong time. It's almost like being zapped to the WW1 trenches and going "What am I doing here?". They are shell shocked, they hate the manager, they hate the regime and they hate the players. The Spurs fans haven't got the mental energy, spine or gumption to support a team they hate through a relegation fight. The Spurs players are the same, shell shocked. Again, opening their eyes in the middle of a gun fight. They haven't been prepared for this. There best players at war with the club. There leaders looking to get out. They are in complete and utter free fall.

Point at home to Forest & Leeds plus 1 at Wolves.
Wins at home to Brighton & Everton.
The question is can we get 11 from our last 9?
Point at home to Man City and away at Palace.

11 points.......hopefully.
If we carry the form from our last 8 into the next 9 we stay up and probably finish above all 3 of those above.

Re: Sp*rs v Palarse
In a relegation fight you need fighters & leaders
Tottenham players do look like they have given up & players like Romero & Van der Ven seem to be looking to where they can escape to next season
Not overly keen on Arsenal winning the league but if they wrap it up before our game how much of a temptation will it be for their fans to want to lose to us if it means Tottenham go down
Would be the most popular relegation since Spurs, Man U & Chelsea all went down in the 70’s

The players have given up. They get booed frequently, You don't many get former Spurs players having an affiliation to the club after their careers finished like West Ham do, What Craig Bellamy said about West Ham

I don't mind the Ferret he generates a bit of debate, it's always about the football - and fair play to him for starting up a thread just for this game. Very entertaining.
