US Politics Thread
Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.
Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.
Yee-haaa!

Disagree with you Onebilly because the big winner from what is going on will be ……….Israel.
In fact all of what has been going on regarding the Gulf has been steered by Isreal. So clever have they been that really astute people like you and Trump have been fooled.

One person who is going to be a big winner from this war is Rachael from Dagenham (so called because she is one stop from Barking). Reeves can screw the economy further into the ground and blame every single fuck up on the war!

Just trying to calculate how many wars Trump has stopped.
That figure contains an imaginary number as it's dominant factor.

This all feels like to me (has for a while now) that Putins been spoiling for a fight with the world. Ample chances to knock it on the head with Ukraine but still he persists with his nonsense. And I don't think anything would put him off having WWIII. cսnt wants it and I think Trump will meet him head on which would be the right thing to do if that was the case.

I am not the greatest on the triple quotes or more. I always try to find middle ground on these subjects. Ideally that would be the best for the populace of Iran but there will many former government higher up who wont want to cede so like Iraq there will be a lot of blood shed, Iran are nearly all Shai Muslims so there wont be the sectarians atrocity's that went on in Iran. ISIS took over a Iraqi army cadet camp in Tikrit , The cadets were Shia Muslims ISIS executed 1000s there were 11,0000 missing

The CIA have already been arming them up to the eyeballs in preparation of a ground attack in the coming days and weeks.Like the CIA are trustworthy
Sometimes they are and I reckon this is one of them occasions due to the critical situation of ridding the old Irainian regime. It's in their interests to give them (and in turn the people of Iran who want to be armed to face the IRGC) the tools to do the groundwork the Yanks don't really want to do themselves escalating the issue with their own troops if it can be helped.

Erdoğan gets on with Trump, like so many do in the middle east. Trump did a lot of groundwork in his first term and continued it back in power buttering up those connected to the middle east where some will turn a blind eye if it means the end of Iran's destructive nonsense to the entire region. They've all had enough just as much as we all have. Only Putin and the Iran Islamic Republic diehards wants it to carry on.

There won't be. Iran has managed to fuck off not just all their neighbours by lashing out at them but also their own people killing thousands. They are playing it just right so far. Crush their military and those in command before effectively handing it over to Pahlavi and his transition team in waiting.

Then you get to the hospitals that have been hit.
The USA might not have targetted this but they are using AI to identify targets.
LLMs are not intelligent as they are still what is the next word machine with no understanding of context.
If the algorithm matches the target to the training data then BOOM.
Having said that hospitals and schools are right out of the IDF playbook.
