US Politics Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.

Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.

Yee-haaa!

Couple it all with the nuclear weapons programme and production issue this past 6 months, as well as the attacks on Israel/US base, then yeah it's a major issue that needed addressing.
There isn't one reliable bit of evidence which shows they have the capability of building a nuclear weapon.
They certainly haven't produced any nuclear weapons.

Iran still has highly enriched uranium stocks and The IAEA estimates that when Israel launched its first attacks in June, Iran had 440.9 kg of 60% of enriched uranium.

They only need 3% enrichment for public use like energy.

Maybe the IAEA are lying to us and in on it as well.
But no capability to turn any of that into weapons.
And if they did the UN security council would have approved any action.

They didn't have the capability and this is an illegal war.
It was about regime change, then it was nuclear weapons and then the threat of an imminent attack.
Now its about complete surrender.

No good will come from all of this.

The second one is a big reach. The only one within the last year says there’s no confirmation of an attack and they don’t know who did it.

Let’s believe it anyway, why waiting 9 months to act? Let’s not pretend that is the reason for all this.

and if it’s regime changes you’re after then you will be disappointed.

The numbers killed by Hamas,Hezbolah and the Hooties are uncountable and these TERROIST organisations couldn't exist without funding from Iran. Surely a weakened Iran can only be a good thing for the rest of the world? Also, I can't help thinking that a lot of the vitriol surrounding this war wouldn't be half as potent were Trump not in charge. He could cure cancer tomorrow and they'll be some saying he should have left the disease alone. And is the rest of the world supposed to just sit back,  watch and wait whilst Iran builds up the means to destroy us all?

Actually Mincy, I thought you were Joyo’s muse.

Yeah I’m seeking approval, fucking hell! You really do have your head up your arse.

As I said take your tired, boring Trantifa act elsewhere. Nobody cares mate!

Probably best for all if you don't try thinking again then, your evolutionary tree is clearly behind the rest of humanity on those abilities.

If you're not seeking approval, why post all that shit up on here? What is your aim?

And, now I've clearly got your attention,  how do you know for a fact that your information sources are 100% kosher, yet those supplying information about which you don't agree or accept are propaganda machines?
Fuck me you still talking Mincy?
Only if you're still thinking, you absolute bottling fanatic.

Can't prove your information sources are kosher? You're a simpleton believer, led by the nose by whatever the media says that sounds good to you. Yippy-aye-ai.

The fact they are enriching uranium to weapons grade and have networks underground developing their capabilities coupled with a defiant objective of death to Israel and death to America I’d say there’s plenty of reason to go in and take them out.

at what point do you think they should act? After they have a bomb ffs?

Need a hand moving those goalposts? Imminent threat suddenly becomes enriching uranium.

Enriching uranium isn’t illegal and there was no verified evidence of them creating nuclear weapons. They certainly didn’t have any.

Are we now bombing every country who enriches uranium? Pakistan? Netherlands? India?
Or do we just bomb the ones using mean words?
Unfortunately India and Pakistan already have Nukes and the Dutch are no threat to anyone. So it’s all just your typical silly nonsense again…… You’re not all there mate!

You're about as insecure a materialist as they come, constantly seeking approval or attempting to paint yourself as "a cut above" everybody else (using your own personal criteria).

I’m on the side of not starting illegal wars and not destabilising the ME and messing up the global economy.

There are plenty of horrible regimes on the planet but it isn’t the decision of Trump to pick & chose which ones he bombs.
You’re just creating another generation of Iranian’s who will hate America because they destroyed their infrastructure.

You will now have
more refugees
more terrorism
more of an affordability crisis across the world

and for what?
he’s not helped the people of Iran like he promised.

I sometimes question who's side you are on between Iran or Israel/US out of this conflict. Iran has threatened and continued to threaten both Countries refusing to agree or stop production for nuclear weapons which they haven't denied is their aim and who they wish to target. A Regime who killed over 30,000 innocent civilians of their own people, yet your main focus is always to come down hard on US/Israel trying to put a stop to their undeniable aggression amd despicable acts against humanity intentionally and happy to admit that themselves.
