The Premier League will want to thank not only us for staying up but also Millwall for somehow finally managing the impossible getting promoted. So then we can carry on the tradition of producing a fiercely contested London Derby as everyone sadly has to wave goodbye to Spurs getting relegated and their once proud north London Derby. We will continue to attract eyeballs on the Premier League from around the world for their PRODUCT.

I wonder if we'll start referring to the Dockers derby as the ELD just as those sickly cunts in north London now like to refer it as the NLD..

Millwall aren't our biggest rivals. You can only have a meaningful rivalry with a club you play against and Millwall are never good enough to do this except for the odd cup match or in one of our rare relegation years.

They are though our most hated club, which is not quite the same thing.

I suspect that, like several posters on here,  should this become a distinct possibility, the media will make constant references to football hooliganism/ tasty run-ins of the late 70s/early 80s and the authorities will base their decisions on preventing that situation rearing it's ugly head again.

In short, if it looks like happening, the word will go out to all involved to make sure that it doesn't actually happen.

I'd like to think that would not be the case, but a big part of the sanitation of the game is the stamping out of local tribal activities.

To be honest as Wall always expecting the worse...so thats

1) You to score a last minute winner against Leeds to stay up on Goal Difference and Forest the other team to go down not Spurs
2) We lose on penalties to Wrexham in the play off final
3) As we have been well punching above our weight in the Championship for over 5 years now (5th lowest budget in the league (it finally catches up with us next season and we have a play off hang over that puts us in a relegation battle all season)
4. You get new owners next season and the likelihood you ever being in a relegation battle again in my lifetime is non existent....

Of course if Carlsberg did promotion seasons...

it would literally be opposite to all of the above...

In their hospitality suite, in the corridor to the loo, they have a photo montage on the wall that includes a picture of them celebrating “The Mother’s Day Massacre Of West Ham”, March 2004 when they won 4-1. Listing the goal scorers. They can’t even spell Christian Dailly’s name correctly.

PB has ecohed my feelings perfectly. I see Millwall as our real rivals and whilst despising them I have a grudging respect for their club and fans. 

As for Tottenham, i just don't like them,never have.
Got no real feelings either way for Arsenal or Chelsea, whatever sucsess/lack of means nothing to me.
