Loading the midfield out putting Bowen in the middle to close down the space on Rodri and Silva

The Gunners are wining 2-0 in injury time

I think City will choke and we will win 3-1 (I can see this post coming back to haunt me )

That’s what it’s all about. Spot on. You can play 4 at the back and approach it like pussies and five at the back and approach it with bravery. It’s all about the attitude and the mindset rather than the formation.

I'd argue with Summerville out our best XI players are on the pitch in a logical setup.

Let's see how it goes. I'd rather start with five and then go to 4, than drop into a 5 mid game which surrenders all momentum.

Anything from this game a huge bonus.

Maybe the idea is to try to stop them on the flanks?

Nuno has beaten Pep with three different clubs maybe he knows how to approach it. With Summerville missing he maybe prefers Diouf running into that space and you have no idea what Paco wants.

Ooooh there’s going to be some rage on here in a minute, I am sure.

I’ll wait and see how the match goes before losing my shit or not. Wonder if Traore does indeed have d a knock.

Manuel wrote: 14 Mar 2026, 14:41 Yep it's been pretty horrendous with late fixtures this season, personally it fucks me right up but appreciate nobody is going to give a fuck about some cսnt that moved to Asia, and rightly so, but still frustrating. We now have Wolves on a Friday night and Palace on Monday upcoming.

And why have they introduced Friday night games? I believe that there isn't much appetite for it either in England? Monday night football was accepted a long time ago and is fine, but Friday's, and now many Saturday night games. 3pm Sat games have become decimated, just look at today. It's fucking shit.
It's all about the ad revenues. I'm sure they'd have a game on every night of the week during a season if they could. There must have been a few weeks this season where there's been that happening.

You're totally correct about the death of football on saturdays at 3pm. It's a big shame. It's usually only 3-4 games max per week now?

It’s a good point. If they start prioritising fixtures to suit TV schedules it’s not surprising the fanbase chooses to watch it on TV instead of going. I sold my ticket for today although I would have done that whether it was on TV or not in my case.

Same. Were it 3pm or even 5 at a pinch I could have gone but I’ve got family commitments so 8 isn’t doable. This is the twelfth home league match this season not on at Saturday 3pm, I think. I am pretty sure half of them have been evening kick offs as well.

Yup. This is our 8th home league fixture kicking off at 1730 or later.
So both you and Wil who moaned about the Cup game not being on a Saturday are both not going to the Saturday league game tut tut... Swotc 😉
Nope. Got commitments for mother's day tonight/tomorrow. I'd have been able to make it if kick off was at a usual time and not 8pm
