Disappointing but often think for young players a kick in the teeth and a hard knock might be better for their development
Shows them they haven’t made it and need to work harder
If they are made of the right stuff they will learn and improve

Was hard for us to tell as the pens were at the far end but assume that one hit the post and hit him on the back and went in? If only he'd gone the wrong way for that one too
Disappointed in a couple I was looking forward to seeing but pleasantly surprised by a couple of others
Funny that we've got two long-throw specialists in the U21s and none in the first team squad

Shame for them, but also a bit alarming that some players who are apparently better than our first team and would be premier league game changers lost to such a poor team. What a cruel night for Herrick after a great display that goal and then the lucky penalty.

He was my MoM before that

Re: PL2/U21s/U18s/Etc.....
Fearon is very skilful, has quick feet. The last half dozen games he has really shone, partly down to Kante not being on the scene where he was played out of position several times. I think he has matured too. Him and Orford control the midfield. Both are more skilful than Kante. Both score frequently. Both have learnt to shield themselves well and have become stronger individuals in play. Both look to good for U21's football now.
Not sure about Ajala's offer. Doesn't seem to be affecting him quite the contrary.
As muted before having these 3 on the bench will only improve us.
The game changers we need are these 3.
I love Ollie Scarles but we could take him and Kante plus Kilman off the bench.

How is Fearon going?
Seems to score regularly & lots of movement & energy in highlights I’ve seen
Any reason he hasn’t been given a chance on the first team bench when others have?
Believe Ajala has been given a derisory offer and will move on
Seems a natural goal scorer and again would be more useful than extra first team bench defenders

Very good performance
Ajala,Battrum,Fearon scored.
0-0 HT
Commanding 2nd half , Ajala not losing focus after a first half penalty miss. Continued his fine scoring form and an assist. Fearon and Battrum both on the score sheet once again.
Play some of these or at least have them on the bench,

The shining light in an horrific season for the club as a whole. A 3-1 win at Leeds the latest success.
If, as I fear / expect, we are playing Championship level next season, we will need a fair few to be capable of being part of our senior squad next season because finances suggest, like the disasterous relegation where we lost a golden generation and sold / released 16 players in a fire sale, we will soon be relying on the likes of Potts, Earthy, Orford, Kante, Meyers, Cummings, Lamadrid, Fearon etc to stop us doing a Leicester or Birmingham or Sunderland and dropping down further.
