Andy Carroll - Interim Manager Dagenham
Hes not busy enough getting nicked at stansted, and the court case with deranged ex, so he takes over at the daggers.
He's some man for one man - for better or worse - he's living a life.
All i ever wanted was for him to be fit and playing for us. I came back from ireland to see a final couple of games before we moved from upton park. Saw payets wonder free kick v pal ace and carrolls hat trick v arse. So a nice goodbye/memory for me.

Ah ok, thanks for that. In that case it's not a bad decision, it can remain interim while they see how it goes. It's a good level to start a managerial career if he's got all his badges, it means that he can take a bit from all the different Premier League and International managers he's had which is an equaliser when up against much more experienced managers.

Gank - he's very much a minority shareholder, so he won't really get to decide.
Re: Andy Carroll - Interim Manager Dagenham
Doesn't he part-own the club? It makes perfect sense for a football man with a financial interest to be running the show.
The problem might be if he fails or decides it's not as interim as it sounds. He's not going to sack himself and would need his fellow shareholders to vote against him.

His old mate Kevin Nolan might be a better long term option if he was prepared to drop down to NLS which I doubt.

Full marks to him for giving it a go,
Clearly not scared of people pointing at him and laughing should it all go wrong (which it probably will).
Nothing ventured, as the saying goes, nothing gained.

Re: Andy Carroll - Interim Manager Dagenham
bit too volatile for modern management, may have fitted in during the 70s. will probably knock out the first player that back chats him.
