US Politics Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.

Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.

Yee-haaa!

Well yes.
That is generally what happens when someone decides to set the Middle East on fire.
Give it some time and we'll get a global recession as a bonus treat if they don't stop soon..
The Americans learn nothing from recent history and Natanyahu doesn't give a fuck.
Vladimir Putin must be laughing his arse off.

I suspect that following this war of the Trump pets, the UK can expect to receive boatloads of Iranian Muslim refugees - Muslims of a different flavour to the majority currently freely sailing in.

So not only will the authorities happily continue in their quest to make Britain itself very un-British, we'll now be expecting - and expected to tolerate -  proxy street battles over when some paedo rode a unicorn up to the heavens centuries ago.

So far Israel has played a blinder. Aware that  Iran’s stocks of retaliatory rockets and drones are not too depleted they chose yesterday to hit the Iranian gas field and got the hoped for response.

The gulf states are incensed at how Trump is so blatantly being played by Israel.

From BEEB

Both Qatar and the UAE had condemned the attack at Iran's South Pars gas field, warning it threatened "global energy security".Now the Gulf is bearing the brunt of Iran's fury. In Qatar, Ras Laffan was hit repeatedly but fires there are now under control. The UAE's Habshan gas facility and Bab field have been forced to shut down. Authorities say they were hit by debris from intercepted attacks.Saudi Arabia too was targeted, saying it thwarted attacks in the east, and in the capital Riyadh. In response, Qatar has now expelled two Iranian diplomats, and Saudi Arabia has warned it is reserving the right to respond militarily.Iran was already isolated, but now it has severely damaged its relationships with regional neighbours who were willing to mediate on its behalf.

Militarily and their weapon manufacturing capabilities. Lets not kid ourselves,Hamas,Hezbollah and the Hooties only exist because of Irans ability and willingness to arm them.

The Hooties have been conspicuous by their absence in this war by sitting tight. Either waiting under orders by Iran when they want them to get busy causing havoc, or my gut feeling they have thought fuck getting involved in a death wish seeing how the US are going about it all.

The FBI are now investigating former Director of the United States National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent.

What a country.
Speak out against the government and they’ll try to arrest you.

Same happened with Jerome Powell because he wouldn’t do as Trump wanted on interest rates.
