Bowen is past it
What on earth has happened to him.
Absolutely shocking once again today. Do feel like he’s past it at this point.

Re: Bowen is past it
Bowen isn't "past it" or anything even close to it.
He's playing in a poor West Ham side, with some massive holes in it, and under a manager who parks the bus about 40 yards away from where one of our best players is most effective.
Nuno has made us more competitive (results-wise) than Potter and Lopetegui. But it has come at the expense of some players not getting the ball as often as they'd like in areas where they are most effective. What's happened to Bowen is the result of that trade-off.
Nuno - and, more importantly, the other players - have to do more to feed Bowen in areas where he's more effective. And he certainly needs Summerville's pace back in the side with him, as that helps him get forward quicker and means defenders defend deeper against us.

Re: Bowen is past it
Can't believe anyone is blaming him alone for their goal. Yes he lost the ball near their penalty area, they are 100 odd yards away from our goal, you could easily blame any of 10 other players for not doing their job. Fine he didn't have a great game, it happens, others played far worse.

Preferably to a foreign side.
Simons, Muani or Tudor?

Re: Bowen is past it
I don't think he wants to be here and has his sights elsewhere for a last hurrah at the top level as he moves past his prime, but I also think he's a model pro and not a sulker, there's no attitude he just did not hit his usual form this season. Maybe controversial, but we need to sell him I think.

Yes... you can't run with the ball on your left foot if the defender is that side too... there is always the danger he will just stick a foot in and block it away from you, which is what happened.
You know the rest...

Re: Bowen is past it
I’ll own up when they first got him I thought he was a right donkey but he has grown into possibly their best player. He’s had some nasty head knocks as well putting himself on the line.

What a load of rubbish!
If anything I can see a club like Liverpool or if they survive Spurs coming in for him in the summer.
No I doubt it not at his age.
If we had to sell one of him Fernandes or Summerville who would you pick, for me it would have to be him because of the age, as gutting as it would be.

Like he does in all things. Pathectic.
If you had done your research Engalnd always take an extra keeper as a trining keeper. Not registered to play but there for the squad.
I think it's an excellent squad. Even if I did want Trent involved. Trent hasn't been great all this season and has been injured too. He has maybe a dozen games to show his worth. I actually expect he will . Spence hasn't shown much of late. He'll probably show this in trraining. The first part of the set up is an elimination squad except for a few. I wouldn't be surprised if Dowman gets more game for Arsenal and if any of the superstars fade he'll be in. Think he's a better bet than Rashford.
Hopefully Bowen starts down the right against Uruguay, he won't have to chase back as much without AWB at right back.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention any of the youth players
What the fuck is a training goalkeeper? If you are looking for some cannon fodder why not take Henderson or Johnston? Fucking weird selection.

He will be the training keeper for the WC
