Agreed. It just wasn't there as a Team. Slipped back in to some old bad habits and the Team not focussed and giving it their all. A wasted opportunity.
*Looks at Nuno for preparation*

Forest have the hardest run-in, plus they're still in Europe.
That's why we really needed a Sp*rs win on Sunday.

Erh, that makes no sense at all Massive, fella. If they are not save then that would mean we stay up by beating them, no? Surely we would take that at this point. You've had a 'mare there.

Ideally Arsenal would have won it as said and know that losing would likely relegate Tottenham
That would be a motivation for their fans at least

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
I'm hoping Leeds are safe by the time we play them so it would be an easier game. They would have to make a right pigs ear of their final fixtures with 33 points already. Don't see them doing that. Would also be nice if they can just about guarantee safety by going all out to win at Spurs too.
Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
hard to say. I think we need to win the next two to have any momentum and remain in touch. The teams we are playing have nothing to play for so its doable.

Yeah, but just think of the absolute meltdown - if only for a few hours - if we beat Wolves and Sunderland beat Spurs in the next tranche of PL games.

As already been said on here,by the time we plat Arsenal, they could already be champions and be pre occupied with champions league issues. We would still have to beat them of course but it'd be helpful if they didn't HAVE to win the game.

That scenario would be funny as fuck and not out of the question either, considering Spurs fans carry on last season against City begging to lose against them at Home. The Spurs meltdown would be monumental.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
For what it is worth, my "infallible" spreadsheet has us going down on goal difference to Spurs. Unless when we play the Gooners they already have the title in the bag and let us win to relegate Spurs
Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Spurs are in absolute freefall at the moment and have shown no fight. They are going down like Bobby Crush on an Oil Rig. They could have gone down last Season! We are at least showing some fighting spirit and having a go. Cannot afford anymore repeats of Saturdays performance against Villa though!

Double yes if it meant beating the mighty Gooners again in the Final.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
If we can't win at least 3 out of those 7 remaining fixtures, then we don't deserve to stay up is another way of looking at it. 4 Home games, only playing against 1 Team in the top 6 whilst playing 3 Teams in bottom 7.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
With our negative goal difference you might as well say we are two points behind the teams above so my feeling is we are going to have to put together back to back wins during April to dig ourselves out of the bottom three without being reliant on other teams results going into May.
If we fail to do this we will be staring down the barrel and running out of road to put things right
The likes of Leeds can draw there way to safety but we can't
A win against Wolves is vital and will ramp up the pressure on Spurs ahead of their fixture but we then need to follow up regardless of that result.
Summerville s fitness will be key to our fate as the likes of Pablo and Taty despite the workrate just don't have the quality he clearly possesses.
Fingers crossed and I'm sure there will be many a twist and turn yet.

I'd take the FA cup over staying in this boring anti football league every time.

Fair comment and is a concern in the final third.
As for Vicario that someone mentioned was going to be out..
Vicario will undergo surgery next week on a hernia. The minor procedure for the Italy international goalkeeper has been timed to have as minimal an impact on our season as possible.
Guglielmo will commence his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately, and it is hoped that he could return to action within the next month.
Italy International is a fucking stretch for that useless streak of piss.

Arsenal is the only team we still have to play at the level of City & Villa
We do need to be positive though
A few draws won’t be enough
