US Politics Thread
Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.
Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.
Yee-haaa!

People are not forced to broadcast their innermost thoughts on the internet - they proactively choose to do so (see, as proof, replies to this post).
It's a clear case of them making their own bed and then having to lie in it. Personal responsibility and accountability.
There is no hiding place now on the internet (not even the dark web).Should Trump lose his job then?
I see no reason why he should not be held to owning and held accountable for his public claims and statements.
However, getting someone to take on and execute such a task to enforce that accountability could be problematic...
...and then who would replace him - Igor Tudor?

Re: US Politics Thread
TC, if it’s someone who you feel has wronged you and been malicious towards you, then being ‘pleased’ would be human nature for many.
But most people would be privately pleased, not be openly telling all in sundry.(its having standards, which you would expect especially of a leader)
I’ll admit I know very little about the background, which led to Trump having the grudge that he obviously has, but he is President of his country, blaring out that he’s happy at the death of someone who fought for his country and was awarded for bravery.
Can you imagine the Prime Minister of this country, or pretty much any other western country, coming out with stuff like “I’m glad he’s dead”, in relation to any fellow countryman, let alone someone who was a war hero?
When people on the left have celebrated the death of those on the right (Thatcher, as a for instance), they’ve rightly been called vile scum.
There is no difference with this.

Old bone spurs blinks again, issues massive threat to Iran, Iran threatens to target neighbouring gulf states, these states approach Trump who now removes his incoherent bawbling threat following “talks” with Iran who actually deny knowledge of talks.
Meanwhile back home in the States support for the pomaded cretin ebbs away relentlessly.

I'd celebrate the cսnt's death as well.
There is an element of truth to that.

The orange rapist could have just said nothing and shown some decency.
Instead he pick up his phone and posted: “Good. I’m glad he’s dead”.
Mueller was a military veteran. He served in Vietnam even though he’d had knee surgery and didn’t have to serve - he chose to. He was awarded a purple heart and a bronze star.
and the draft dodging coward is celebrating his death.
Interesting that you have a hard on for Donald ..
Do you have the same opinion of Big Bill..?Interesting that I expected the leader of the free world to have some morals and decency?
