US Politics Thread
Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.
Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.
Yee-haaa!

Re: US Politics Thread
What positive action did Trump take to "dodge" the bullet?
Are you claiming that he is powerful enough to even get the wind to change a bullet's direction mid-flight?

You think?
I’d say someone being a proven sexual assaulter of women is a very good reason to not think someone is any kind of role model.
Not to mention the draft dodging and constant lying.
They’re not traits I aspire to.

The man’s a bullet dodging Demigod with balls the size of grapefruits.
The last thing he does is chicken out. You are obviously still in the gutter with the gutter press. Poor thing! One of these days you’ll catch a clue.Thats one of the cringiest things I’ve ever read.
A demigod that rapes women, dodges the draft, celebrates the deaths of real heroes and is a stranger to the truth.
Theis 100% true and widely proven.
He’s a bullet dodging Demagod. The man has had a former president and his admin, the CIA and the FBI all out to get him and he is still fighting back and winning.
There is just no quit in this dawg!
He definitely doesn’t quit when he’s sexually assaulting women.
Doesn’t quit lying either.
Or dodging the draft.

Now that he has smashed their military capabilities to bits he is giving them a chance to give up on their nuclear ambitions now from a position of weakness or face the consequences of what comes next. Which is certain death and misery.
Donalds played a blinder!
Definitely blagging it and for good reason. It's clever how the Commanders dealing with all this occasionally lean on Trump's social media presence so people can believe oh it's just that buffoon talking, but when I read between the lines of some of his posts, it reads like a tactical post to bluff the markets/public/enemy. They'll likely suggest to Trump to put up shit about the talks in his unmistakable style then it should calm the markets and bide US some time. Even when you listen to him outside Air Force One you can see him being mindful about what he says so to get the right message across. No Tacos for Trump anytime soon.. 🍽

Think we might have seen 3 of them on CCTV trying to help turn 4 ambulances in to soft top convertibles.

What he promised would come next is actually a war crime.
You’re right though, he doesn’t bluff - he just chickens out.

Re: US Politics Thread
He really doesn’t. The entire world was expecting another
and he duly delivered. The Iranian’s were mocking him with their reaction to these ‘talks’.
The Strait is still controlled by Iran and they are still firing rockets & drones at neighbouring countries so I don’t think they bought his bluff.

The Donald is magic, isn’t he.
He’s got the Iranians and everyone else in a spin on what’s coming next. They must be wondering what the fuck is going on.
They know that Trump ain’t fucking about. That’s about all they know.
They must be shitting themselves.

They will continue on 100% and not believe a word he says. Neither side is naive at all and know they cannot wait to smash one another. This was about calming the markets and biding time for the sake of the US.Pointless calming the markets for a few days if you’re planning to escalate this.
It’s the price of the futures contracts that matter. The longer term impact of this is already priced in (to an extent).

Bide a bit of time before the marines rock up to go in targetted attacks.
It all goes back to when I say Trump often strategically says things in the Media that isn't just off the cuff and will be reason behind it. Sure, it's always said in his typical bombastic style (which I like a lot of the time) but it ain't just because he's erratic and careless saying things on a whim. Give him a bit of credit..Do you think the Iranian’s believe him and have decided to scale back any defensive activities?
Or do you think they will be planning for the arrival of these troops?
