Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.

Are you all nuts? this is a massive no, premiership is our meat n drink.

All about winning Trophies. Who gives a fuck about losing Premier League status that can be more easily achieved than winning a Cup other than those money grabbing wankers and Accountants in the Boardroom. Cup all day long and hello Championship! 🏆
It must be a fucking weird to spend all day every day posting on here while only giving a fuck about cup matches? What an oaf!

That weren't the question posed though divvy. Of course I give a fuck about the League when it isn't boiled down in such a binary way.

Meat and drink what? Losing most weeks, not enjoying a game, VAR killing atmospheres? Great innit.

Clubs like us can only really get success in cups. Of course it’s Cup and relegation over staying up and lose the quarters, on the hypothetical. Otherwise what’s the point?

I do want to stay up, mainly because we’re competing with Spurs, but I’m unfazed by going down for a year.

I still think we will go down and Spurs will fluke it. Forest are picking up and so are Leeds.

Erh, that makes no sense at all Massive, fella. If they are not save then that would mean we stay up by beating them, no? Surely we would take that at this point. You've had a 'mare there.

I get how it reads but I think what I mean is I don't see Leeds going down said in a cack handed way. Happy to be proved wrong as it means it will come down to a one off Cup Final between us at Home but I think they'll be safe a few games before then. I think it's out of Forest, us and Spurs.

Did WE have any?  we have to want it more than forest and spurs and was not seeing it against Villa

Agreed. It just wasn't there as a Team. Slipped back in to some old bad habits and the Team not focussed and giving it their all. A wasted opportunity.

*Looks at Nuno for preparation* 👀

Forest have the hardest run-in, plus they're still in Europe.

That's why we really needed a Sp*rs win on Sunday.

Ideally Arsenal would have won it as said and know that losing would likely relegate Tottenham
That would be a motivation for their fans at least

I'm hoping Leeds are safe by the time we play them so it would be an easier game. They would have to make a right pigs ear of their final fixtures with 33 points already. Don't see them doing that. Would also be nice if they can just about guarantee safety by going all out to win at Spurs too.

hard to say. I think we need to win the next two to have any momentum and remain in touch. The teams we are playing have nothing to play for so its doable.

Yeah, but just think of the absolute meltdown - if only for a few hours - if we beat Wolves and Sunderland beat Spurs in the next tranche of PL games.

As already been said on here,by the time we plat Arsenal, they could already be champions and be pre occupied with champions league issues. We would still have to beat them of course but it'd be helpful if they didn't HAVE to win the game.

That scenario would be funny as fuck and not out of the question either, considering Spurs fans carry on last season against City begging to lose against them at Home. The Spurs meltdown would be monumental. 😂

For what it is worth, my "infallible" spreadsheet has us going down on goal difference to Spurs. Unless when we play the Gooners they already have the title in the bag and let us win to relegate Spurs😂

Spurs are in absolute freefall at the moment and have shown no fight. They are going down like Bobby Crush on an Oil Rig.  They could have gone down last Season! We are at least showing some fighting spirit and having a go. Cannot afford anymore repeats of Saturdays performance against Villa though!

If we can't win at least 3 out of those 7 remaining fixtures, then we don't deserve to stay up is another way of looking at it. 4 Home games, only playing against 1 Team in the top 6 whilst playing 3 Teams in bottom 7.
