Re: Eye ties
It’s difficult for Italy:
Dont produce the players they used to
The magic pills don’t work any more
Referees are much more expensive to bribe these days
3 successive World Cups where they’ve not qualified
Of course England didn’t qualify in 1966 1970 1974 & 1978

Re: Eye ties
That’s 3 WC finals in a row they have failed to qualify for!
Bests England,s twice in the 70,s (74, 78) and for one of the so called powerhouses of International football an achievement, well sort of
Shame imo, a WC without them just never seems the same but then I grew up in an era they were a real force and some massive players.

Terrible for Italian football but no more than they deserved. This generation really isn’t good enough, simple as that. The youth teams are doing well so hopefully better to come.
Maybe it will only be the two major tournament wins in my lifetime.Away???
And you can get WiFi in prison?
I know you’re poor son, but some people do go on holiday from time to time.

Re: Eye ties
I'm looking at that Italian side now and bar Donnarumma and Tonali, what the fuck is the rest of that Team??
Don't seem to be producing them like they once did anymore. The one thing England have managed to sort since finally getting St George's Park up and running.

Oh dear oh dear, Italy missing the World Cup for a Hat-trick of attempts.
They've gone to absolute rat shit losing out to Bosnia now.
