The "This will all be over in a week, get your own results" FA Cup Quarter Finals predictions thread
FA Cup
Saturday, 4 April 2026 12:45
Manchester City v Liverpool
Venue: The Etihad Stadium
League Positions: 2 v 5
Current Forms: 11 v 24
Short & sweet this week on account that I'll be away from home (but only 20 minutes drive away from home) until 3rd April. I guess that the winner of this game will get to the final...and I guess that will be Manchester City.
Prediction: Home Win
FA Cup
Saturday, 4 April 2026 17:15
Chelsea v Port Vale
Venue: Stamford Bridge
League Positions: 6 v 68
Current Forms: 9 v 13
There's nailed on, and there's NAILED ON. Port Vale are gonna get screwed.
Prediction: Home Win
FA Cup
Saturday, 4 April 2026 20:00
Southampton v Arsenal
Venue: St Mary's Stadium
League Positions: 27 v 1
Current Forms: 39 v 35
Current form actually favours Southampton and I will raise a wry smile if Arsenal go all spursy in this tie. Can't see the authorities allowing that to happen - think about it; sponsors worst nightmare; Port Vale & Southampton both go through and are paired against each other in the semis.
Sunday, may I introduce Month. Month, this is Sunday. Play nicely now. Please name one of those "stranger things" that "have happened".
Prediction: Away Win
FA Cup
Sunday, 5 April 2026 16:30
West Ham United v Leeds United
Venue: The London Stadium
League Positions: 18 v 15
Current Forms: 27 v 18
And now, ladies & gentlemen, the tie we have all been waiting for...all except the Spurs and Man U fans I know, that is.
Will we? Won't we? Well, we can, that's for sure, but did not make decent fists about any of our previous cup ties, so will we? Were it Spurs, and not Leeds visiting, now THAT would really get the juices flowing. Alas, for some reason, that was destined not to be.
So.
We will, but on penalties...8-7
Prediction: Home Win
Your very own make-your-mind-up-time predictions sheet:
Manchester City v Liverpool -
Chelsea v Port Vale -
Southampton v Arsenal -
West Ham United v Leeds United -
No acca for me this week as the returns are pathetic.

The Ox has finally found his vocation in life, to wind up a load of blokes on an internet forum with silly, cringey thread titles. You just know he will be wanking himself silly thinking about what next weeks headline can be. What a guy.

I know you're a few sandwiches short of a picnic, merde son, but even you must realise that foeing someone simply means that you don't have to see their posts. I'd do the same to you but you're so easy to spot and ignore as all of your posts come in bursts of 2 or 3.

Biggest game of the season for us. Shame Tomas and Mad Mads had the extra time and pens, I expect areola will be back.
Expect all the usual suspects to go through to the next round . . . . But go on port vale, please.
City
Arsenal
Port Vale
West Ham
West ham v Arsenal Final
Again

I foed him but still see some of his shit unfortunately.
I fancy us and agree Chelsea would be the best option in the SF. Arsenal would have a slim chance, City we wouldn't even get the ball, I'd actually say that it would be impossible for us to beat them, so hopefully the Scouse can pull one out the bag.

I stick by my prediction from weeks ago that we beat Arsenal in the final. Chelsea in the semis would be lively

Should we get past Leeds, Chelsea would be the one's gor me too against the IT Crowds kid.
Completely agree. If it wasn't us I'd say Liverpool given their relative struggles but if they played their women's team they'd somehow score a lucky deflected goal and beat us 1-0
