Apparently, well according to the BBC, there were 7000 in attendance which is more lies because the grounds capacity is only 9500 and it was deserted. The stand behind one of the goals was empty and only the stand by the dugouts was 3/4 full. If there was more than 3500 I’d be amazed. Why the need to lie?

I assume you're looking for an answer more sophisticated than it's the BBC, it's what they do.

I think most women have no interest in watching sport at all, regardless of who is playing. I would guess the girls that do follow the ladies, also watch the men. Prob season ticket holders looking for something else to do when the men are not playing.

Its funny how the the ladies improvement has followed from the men's team finally getting a couple of wins. 

There seems to be very little "middle ground" when it comes to sport & women. No real idea why.

On the one hand there are the very dedicated athletes, then a few who are aware, but the vast majority appear totally disinterested in any sport.

There's a very steep drop between the "cares" and "don't cares" with regards to most sports . That drop off is much more gradual amongst men.

Exactly,it's shit. There's what, 50 tiers of men's football between Premier and Pub, all superior, most free to watch when walking the dog and yet I don't bother watching them because they're shit.

So why pay to watch some dumpy lesbians who get rolled by 14 year old boys and want to present themselves as athletes without do the work to look like athletes move around at a snails pace?

Word of advice ladies, an athlete shouldn't be triggered at the thought of controlling their weight or being weighed. If you're working at the appropriate level it won't be an issue unless you're gorging 5,000+ kcal a day.

Purely because the broadcaster will get lambasted for a lack of diversity if they are not. That is the simple truth.

Then you've got Eni Aluko attacking Ian Wright (who has probably done more than anyone for trying to legitimise women's football and the coverage of in this country) for 'taking jobs' from female pundits.

Double standards much?

I should think she's just bitter that she's that bad at being a pundit she can't get on the box any more in either iteration of football because there are a multitude of women who are way more polished and professional.
