HS2 update on an over managed waste of money
The entity known as HS2 should not exist, The normal project organization should be the future operator in this case Network Rail who have their civil construction department as well as everything else railway employing a third party consultancy Arcadis, Jacobs etc to manage Network Rails contractors. When the project finishes the third party consultants leave the project, Cutting the project back does not save money there will be costly arbitration for years long after I have perished going by the progress
