Re: Best War Films
Guy Ritchie's The Covenant is outstanding.
Not a film but obviously Band of Brothers, The Pacific and Masters of the Air are all stellar pieces of film on the 2nd world war.

Re: Clockwork Orange Ibiza
Go most years but missed last year and havent booked up to go this year yet but that is likely to change as we get closer to July. Just looking at other potential dates to head out to Ibiza as regularly go out there a couple of times each season.

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Manuel/Anon, don't bother if you are selective in what you watch. Im relatively happy to watch stuff that maybe isnt on the surface that great as sometimes a show can surprise you but Gangs of London is truly awful now. The first season was maybe ok and it is hugely action packed and stylishly shot ...

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Sorry but did I just read that Gangs of London is better than Mobland??? you mean Gangs of London who in the last season had a whole episode where a pregnant bird fought off assassins and then gave birth mid fight and strangled an assailant with the umbilical chord of her just born child while it wa...

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Graham is a brilliant actor in almost everything he does but that Thousand Blows on Disney+ is fucking awful, tried my hardest to like it and its just shit with a very poorly thought out story line and the lead girl who is brilliant in Adolescence is shocking in this. Regarding Adolescence, I wouldn...

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Im about to finish the second season of severance and I've got to say im struggling with it now. Although slow and a bit ponderous I found the first season brilliant and kept you guessing all the way through. The second season has just gone completely batshit crazy and I literally havent a clue what...

Chim, I watched Adolescence and then watched a doc on YouTube after on the making and that scene is incredible and you are right they are using a Stedicam that is then attached to this incredible 10 propellor drone that is already powered and ready to fly on the go without stopping filming and then ...

Found Black Doves a bit hard at times as it kind of fell between the floor boards of not being extreme or funny enough to be a parody piece like The Boys or The Gentlemen and not serious enough to be a proper Drama. Just ended up being a bit naff at times. Day of the Jackal was brilliant until the f...

Another one for Four Kings, one of the best sports documentaries I've ever watched, very nostalgic given the era of 90's early 00's and for most of us Londoners 4 boxers we would all have had a vested interest in one way or another. Fucking loved it. Also on Prime watched Breaking Dad: Britains most...

Cheers Alfs and Massive Attack, appreciate it lads. She's never acted before Alfs and was just right place at the right time so we're not blinded to the fact she's been very lucky, but then she should never have had CP had the hospital who delivered her done their job properly so it kinda balances o...

Re: New WHO | Site Feedback
I love the new Look and Feel of the site and it seems to work much smoother. I agree with the increase in size of the usernames on each post to as that will help to identify who is saying what. Currently the username does seem to get lost in all the other wording. I thought the mock up you created l...

Re: The Paralympics
I used to be a national level swimmer myself and those walls are pretty soft and spongy given they contain the ability to sense the most sensitive touch to record their times accurately so the 'human torpedo' wont have hurt himself much at all but fuck me did he hit it with some pace. The speed he g...
