Re: West Ham vs Brentford | PL | 20.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I suppose like any relationship that’s irredeemably fucked you have to stop caring and move on. It’s hard though. We had some times me and West Ham. I

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | PL | 20.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I appreciate that Nuno hasn’t got his trusted coaching team around him yet but I’m amazed that no one thought to say of his suggested team, “Are you sure boss?” Just what we need. Another ego on legs who trusts his judgement when everyone else can see it’s mad.

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | PL | 20.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I think the Carragher comments are helpful. You’re always going to get twerps on the BBC website saying ‘this is what you get for hounding out David Moyes”. Sky put their cameras on Sullivan and Brady. I don’t know what the long term prospects are for the club but they deserve to be in the media’s s...

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | PL | 20.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I assumed that Nuno would keep it all nice and simple for the dopey bunch we have representing us currently. What was he thinking? Today was a day to go back to basics and to try to find some confidence and cohesion. He seems a smart thoughtful guy but in one game he’s managed to make himself well a...

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
Talksport “analysis” half arsed and focussed mainly on the stadium. Jeff S- who knows what it’s like to have a terrible owner at Hartlepool- did pin the discontent on abject player recruitment. Brady and Sullivan criticised in passing but main thrust was ‘now is not the time for a boycott’- Gaby S s...

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
Not going on Monday as a matter of principle although I’m doubtful about the impact. Sullivan and Brady will do their best to spin this so the protest seems not only pointless but misguided and unsupportive of Nuno and the team. I’m hoping there are enough empty seats to cause the cameras to seek ou...

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I thought we did alright. We looked much more disciplined defensively. Shame about the penalty as they would have got nervous if it had stayed 1-0 much longer. Their crowd is like a rugby crowd. We were quite noisy. Best bit of the day was serenading Ginger Pele in our section with “Ten more years e...

Re: Apathy at the London Stadium
I stayed till the end and found myself standing a few feet away from Bill Gardner. It was surreal and bloody sad to see him standing in a stadium of empty seats watching a team and support put up so little fight. Sullivan and Brady have killed our club.

This in the Guardian today, so a bit of profile amongst the beardy sandal wearing intelligentsia. Hopefully they’ll be up for kicking the board’s collective arse.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
I would think the most likely reason Igor Julio didn’t go to Palace is that Glasner would have walked if they’d sold Guehi and Eze in the same transfer window.

He’s the lump who jogged alongside Bowen and watched him score the winner in Prague instead of scything him down, right? I think we should sign him and pay him handsomely just to say thank you.

A brilliant away day. Bowen and Paqueta pumped. Where was Forest’s famous atmosphere. Love our fans when we large it in provincial towns and come home with three points, rare as it is. The train home is buzzing.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
A different club than us would say fine, if he wants to go he can go, let’s do everything we can to replace him. We’re not that club. He’ll go. Sullivan will have £50m in his sky and we’ll be short on creativity for the rest of the season.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Like Alf said, I think it’s only loans that’ll come through the door now. Sullivan won’t back a manager he may well have to sack with any more permanent transfers. We don’t own the stadium and have only two genuine playing assets in Bowen and Paqueta- no guarantee Sullivan wouldn’t sell them. The on...

Re: Potter Out
Manager is irrelevant as long as Sullivan is there. Only ones who’ll take the job are on the downward slide in career terms and prepared to risk being Sullivan’s fallguy for one last shot at the Premier League. I guess maybe Ange would fit that bill but Sullivan is really the de facto manager and fo...

Re: Sullivan out!
It does feel different now that the national press and pundits have got Sullivan directly in their sights and are calling him out as self-serving and incompetent. Obviously this is massive wishful thinking on my part but it does feel to me as though something big is about to happen. I suspect it wil...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Those of you who understand business / finance, am I reading this right? The club we love is actually just a side issue in a failed property deal that was the actual focus of Sullivan and Brady all along. That’s why their interest and ours are so far apart. So long as Gold was around they could pret...
