I thought episode 1 of the new season of BCS was excellent and really set this new season up well. It's up there with Bb for me.

Watched most of the best picture nominees... my preference was; Once Upon a Time in Hollywood > Parasite > JoJo Rabbit > 1917 > Joker > The Irishman

"I'm quite surprised by this, but I have the complete opposite opinion on The Gentlemen to Vexed. It's not quite as good as Lock Stock or Snatch but its a very good comedy/gangster film. Most of the cinema was in bits for a lot of the film. I would agree on the accents, especially Hunnam's."

I really enjoyed Miike's documentary about the Yakuza entitled Dead or Alive. The gritty realism sets it apart from such fanciful media like Fargo.
